DIDN'T LAST TWO WEEKS
FIRST, NEVER FULLY EXPANDED. SECOND WATER CAME OUT AS A TRICKLE. THIRD, DIDNT LAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE IT STARTED TO LEAK. THIS IS NOT MY FIRST TIME USING THESE TYPE OF HOSES. I PURCHASE ONE LAST YEAR AND IT WAS GREAT. DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY, VERY UNHAPPY.

Do not buy this product -- it will not last
This is actually 2 50 foot hoses that you join together. Initially, I was quite pleased with this product. It was lightweight and worked well. I have now had this product for less than one year and both 50 foot hoses have failed. One hose developed a huge leak between the hose and the metal end. The other hose had some internal component collapse on itself causing the hose to partially obstruct so it only delivers a light drizzle of water. They are now both in the trash. They were both disconnected and put away for the winter and stored in a hose receptacle during the rest of the year to protect it from the sun so I know it can't be weather damage.

Great idea but not durable!
We ordered the 75 ft. hose a few months ago and it worked great until last week when the fabric/rubber hose ripped away from the brass faucet connection.
We contacted Improvements because the hose unit was still under warranty. Customer service was very responsive to our request to send us a new 75 ft. unit at no charge. We'll see if this one holds up!

Hose is an Excellent Value.
I have had this hose about six months or longer, and it still works and looks like I just bought it.

Not Sorth It
The other review is correct this doesn't hold the 100 foot hose.
Even when I put a shorter hose (50') it just falls off the faucet. It just does not work.
As the hoes they just spring leeks or the ends blow off (only have 50 psi).
I have had a hose replaced but then the lifetime warranty is done, you get one replacement I had 3 hoses and the caused an issue as what hose was replaced.
Steer clear of DAP hoses.
I did cut all the ends off and sent them in for the class action, the check did come. It a fraction of what I paid.
One hose blow apart on the first use one hose was unused and the last one also had the end blow off.
I always removed pressure after I was done with it, as the instructions say to do.
Just Junk

Mine sprung a large leak the second time I used it!
Mine sprung a large leak the second time I used it. I know these don't last long but since it was from Improvements I hoped it would be a bit better quality and that I'd at least get a year out of it.

My retractable garden hoses
This hoses are the best invention, a dream come true...super-light they are, and they practically guide you when you go watering the yard!
I would recommend everyone to replace the old-fashioned heavy hoses with them.
One precision: the water pressure builds well with 150 feet max.(100ft+50ft).
I tried to bind 2-100 feet together, but it does not build water pressure.

Failed during the first use.
Connected the hose and turned on the tap slowly as per the instructions. The hose stretched out to its full length and I used it to fill a watering can. Then the interior rubber hose failed and water poured out through the canvas covering rather than the nozzle. It doesn't appear the product has any warranty, so we're out the thirty dollars.

Does it open?
Does this XHose holder open up to store the hose or do you need to push it thru the slot?
No pushing...just a little tug and it rolls up evenly and quickly...no pushing whatsoever!

When one is finished using this hose and turns off the water, does it easily coil back to the nice tight neat wrapped bundle shown in the sales photo?
Yes you turn the water off at the tap and continue to use hose till it empties It reverts to its original small size

XHose warranty
Does the XHose have a warranty? I have had two hoses explode. I am tempted to try one more time but I have to know if there is a warranty.
Thank you for your question.
Improvements has a 90-day Guarantee/Return Policy. For additional information please contact a product specialist at 1-800-642-2112.

Remove the X Hose Logo?
Can the logo be removed? This will be very visible from the front of my house and I really don't want the logo on there.
Also, it doesn't look white. Is the material paintable?
Thank you for your interest in Improvements.
We do not recommend any alterations to this item. If the item is altered in any way it would void the warranty.

Hose Holder
If you store this hose in some kind of holder, do you need to remove ALL of the hose before turning on? It seems to me that you would or when you turn on the water the remaining hose in the holder would expand and possibly damage the holder or the hose itself.
Please advise.
Thank you,
HPIII
Thank you for your question. Please remove all of the Xhose from the hose holder before turning on the water in order to allow it to expand properly.
