5' Wood Plank Garden Bridge with Rails is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 53.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good buy Overall a good buy. If you purchase this, pay special attention to the directions as there are many bolts that are of different lengths. The directions aren't the best but they are accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made This little bridge is awesome. Easy to assemble the rails the bottom with planks are in 2 pieces and just screw them to together. Very easily done.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just a bit light The planks on the bridge are about a half inch I thought they should have been three quarters inch. Overall the look is nice, just not very strong. More a decoration than a bridge. Light us only

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good look I put it together one afternoon. Before assembly, I put a sealer with a light stain on it. It turned out really nice. All parts fit well. It makes a good accent for landscape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Package No items were missing--good assembly instructions--wish they had one in redwood!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks are deceiving The bridge is what it looks like in the catalogue except that I thought that it would be bigger. If the picture had shown a person standing next to it, I would have gotten a better idea of how small it is. But the price was only around $200 and the description did say 7ft. I should have known.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfinished I fully expected to assemble the bridge. I did not expect I would have to finish making it. I don't know what kind of wood this is but it is very porous & rough. More than that I didn't figure I would need to treat the wood before I could assemble it; untreated it will rot within a year or two. I'm 79 & my wife is 80. Treating the wood for the bridge is not how we expect to spend our waning years. While I was expressing my distain in some very choice words, my wife said, "there is always the fireplace." My wife is a very intelligent lady.

Sloped Ground

I am looking for a bridge that would work on sloped ground. The place I need it for slopes up a bit. Will this worked on uneven/sloped ground?
Asked by: Tupp
Thank you for your question. Under the bridge is a 6 inch clearance. As long as the slope is not more than 6 inches high you should be ok.

Do you have copper tops for the posts on this bridge?

We bought 2 of these bridges about 4 years ago and still love them. We live at 7,000' with intense sun exposure. Every year, I give them a quick sand and re-varnish with Marine Spar varnish - they look great and have continued to hold up well. We would love to have copper tops for the posts, but they are only 2.75" and the smallest ones I can find are 3.5". Any suggestions?
Asked by: ColoradoBarb
I am sorry we do not carry any that size.

Materials

What type of wood is this bridge exactly...Douglas Fir, Pine, or something else? Are the fasteners (screws, bolts, etc) stainless steel, galvanized, or something else?
Asked by: df930
It is fir wood and will need some type of sealant...don't be fooled by what the description says, as won't last without!!! Fasteners are screws and there are HUNDREDS, and they are coated with something, but not galvanized or stainless, but sufficient.
