3-Panel Wood Lattice Air Conditioner Screen-38-1/4"H is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY PLEASED We are using it to hide a large transformer box in our backyard. It works great and makes that part of our yard now a focal point instead of a dull gray box. We have put a bench in front with potted flowers. Looks better than I anticipated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good we bought this to cover up an ugly A/C unit and it looks great. the color we purchased matches the paint on our house so it blends in well. I'm not sure how well this will hold up as it's made of wood, but even if we get only a few years out of it, it will the worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right I bought this to replace another I purchased a year ago, but in a different color. This one (gray) is the perfect color, and the other (still in like-new condition) will become a trellis in my side yard. The screen comes in three pieces with hinges attached to the middle section and starter holes (for fastening the hinges) on the other two sides. The starter holes didn't always align perfectly, but the wood is soft enough that it was easy to work the screws in anyway, just using a regular screwdriver. I think it took me about 20 minutes, all together to fasten the hinges on each side and to attach the two stakes for keeping it in place on windy days. The only part on which I could have used a bit of help was in moving it from my patio to my air conditioning unit, but that was only due to awkwardness as the three sides do not fold flat after assembly. All in all, though, I like this a lot and am happy to have an attractive way to hide that ugly air conditioner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from looks and SMELLS great! Looks beautiful. VERY THIN... can possibly fly away with strong winds so will have to buy additional stakes to secure. KINDA FLIMSY... all the corners splintered when trying to stand up & when stakes were screwed on. ALSO COULD be a tad more taller & wider... it embraces my unit... and I have a traditional size unit, nothing fancy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AC screen Well packaged and easy to put together. The only issue I had was removing the foamy plastic packaging material from the panels. The wood is so fresh that the plastic stuck to the sap in the knot holes. To make sure that it lasts I treated it with a wood preservative.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK but not great I bought the white 3 panel 60" high screens to go around a tall propane tank. I Generally, the quality is ok but some issues. I had to glue the top piece of one of the panels. It came apart. The staples for holding the lattice together are visible backside of the panels The biggest issue is the visible yellow stains and defects showing through the white paint. It will be ok where I plan to install it but for $200 I thought it would be better. I would have returned it but we need the screens and I had to take the packaging apart to see the defects. On a positive note, putting it together was very easy. The center panel already had the hinges mounted and the other panels had pilot holes for the attaching screws.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive, and poor quality I was trying to avoid wood, for the maintenance. These were the only screens I could find in the 60 inch height I need. The trim is glued together, and I needed to re glue two areas. The trim is broken in places. The hinges are flimsy and look like they will easily rust, overall not sure how these will weather the elements. I made the choice to keep them, like I said I can't find anything in the height I need. If you're handy, make them yourself, probably a lot cheaper, and the finished product won't lack the attention to detail that these do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Somewhat flimsy The "pre drilled holes" were nothing more than i slight scratch mark, almost non-existant. Needed two people to hold it down properly to attache the hinges. Once done, it does hide the air conditioner, but the 3' height is just short of completely concealing the top rounded cover.. 5' would have been too high. Directions for the stabilizing did not work, and no way to attach the screen to a concrete platform for stability. very little available which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Is the natural one stainable? I need it to match my deck and brick which is reddish brown.

Asked by: Milliee
Yes, you can stain this but that does void the warranty.

Are stakes deep enough to keep the screen from falling over, ex:  wind, animals, losing balance?  how deep will the stakes go into the ground?  is this pressure treated wood?

Asked by: Bliss
The stakes go approximately 1' into the ground. If properly installed, they should be able to stand most but the very bad weather.

if I need it for a larger place can I connect a 4 panel to another 4 or 3 panel?

Asked by: mmar
Thank you for your question. You can not connect them together there way they come. However, you are welcome to purchase additional hinges from the hardware store and do a simple DYI project yourself.

Do you have the 38-1/4" height in a 4-panel? It looks like the 4-panel only comes in 60", which is too high.

Asked by: Kbrownie
Hello, unfortunately this item is not available with 4 panels at a 38 1/8" height. We apologize for the inconvenience.
