Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Wow! This really is better than burlap or ANYTHING you can think of for your hydrangeas! Now my home doesn't have to look like a construction project to protect my babies from winter! Very strong, but elegant at the same time! Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb protection I used last winter for the first time on shrubs for zone 6 but planted in zone 5 (Maine) and was absolutely amazed that it worked so well to protect my shrubs. Even with the snow being blown on top of a couple of them - all were okay. What's also great is they are easy to put up and easy to take off, they fold up for easy, simple storage and don't take up much room. I'll buy more soon for this coming winter to protect other shrubs. Wish the price was a little less, but they are definitely worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shrub Cover I have used these Shrub Covers over the last several winters in upstate NY. They provide the best protection from burning cold, wind, snow and ice. Yet they allow winter moisture through. Storage is simple by collapsing the cover and securing with the attached ties. The plastic stakes are adequate, but I add sturdier stakes for security .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, protects against deer I've ordered seven of these covers in various sizes. My bushes are no longer eaten up by springtime when the deer get hungry during the winter. I have peace of mind now and can see my bushes grow! These covers are solid, year after year, and easy to install and put away for the summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 5-Star All Sizes EXCEPT X-Large I ordered 2 Large last year and LOVE them. I needed to protect two new shrubs from roof snowfall and these were perfect! They're high quality, stood up to heavy snow and wind and look so much cleaner than burlap and string, not to mention how easy they are to put up and take down. I've recommended them to several people and also ordered another smaller one with no problems. HOWEVER, this year I needed to order 2 of the XL covers to accommodate the new growth and BOTH arrived with broken rods. The XL are packaged differently, presumably because of their size; they are tension-wound and twisted similar to pop-up hampers, so that when you release the string holding them closed they spring open. I was VERY careful when untying so as not to send it flying when it popped open, but both rods were already broken. I only unzipped the outer cover of the second one part-way and decided to reclose it when it became apparent that it had already been opened and shoved back in. Not only were the rods poking through the outer cover, but I could feel they also were broken. Given that both items were damaged, I opted for a refund, as I was no longer confident in the XL product. I've since read of the same experience in two other reviews. I don't understand why the manufacturer would continue packaging the XL in a way that consistently snaps the rods; obviously they are not meant to be twisted and wound in that manner. I had no problem returning them to Improvements and received a refund in a timely manner. My only disappointment with them is that they obviously restocked a returned, damaged item. I'm tempted to try again next year; hopefully by then, the manufacturer will have begun packaging them differently. So while I highly recommend the Mini, S, M and L sizes, I do NOT recommend the XL version- at least not for now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from shrub bonnet I really like these covers for my shrubs but they must be anchored well to withstand winter winds. I could not find these covers locally and was very happy to find them on Improvements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Fan of These Shrub Covers! I have numerous sizes of these "tents" around the yard. They are SO easy to assemble. They shed the snow (important in NY state!). And then in the off season, they fold flat for easy storage. I have recommended these to numerous friends. And they even look nice!

Can I use these in the spring/summer to protect my blueberries from the birds.

Will the cover let enough sunshine in for the blueberries to grow?
Asked by: Slugger22
Thank you for your question. This will not be idea for the summer and birds. The best product to use will be the pop up Bird net item #'s 561786, 561794,and 561919. Pest Guard would be another item # 's 451151 or 451169.
