Perfect outdoor stair mats.
I put these directly on the stairs. They have already been through snow and wind. They have not moved at all.

Looking Good
Have bougth these mats several times. I like them better than the mats that are solid. They stay in place and when it rains they do not leave marks on the wood deck. They look nice, dry out easily, last for years and do not fade. They are more light weight than the solid rubber mats.

Seems like a great product with 1 big flaw
Here is my review of the fore mentioned product. It seems as though this product is going to work perfectly. We bought them to actually use indoors on our hard wood staircase. We were looking for stair treads but didn't want to detract from natural wood appearance...All the while giving our older (mildly overweight) dog a grip to get up and down the stairs. The only and biggest flaw to date is...We haven't gotten them yet.?! Ordered them on Jan. 31st with no signs of backorder...and after a week or so, checked status to see a Mar 19 ship date. So how am I supposed to write a review (from the link I was sent by Improvements) on a product I don't have? It really is too bad, because we love our water guard rugs and runners from Improvements!
Value: Seems reasonable (if not cheaper) compared to others you can find in stock online.
Appearance: Looks good on website and in catalog.
Quality: Should be of similar craftsmanship/composition to products you can find in stock elsewhere.
Performance/Durability: So far they have held up to our dog going up and down the stairs, however she still hasn't actually put a paw on them yet.
Ease of Assembly/Instructions: They are stair treads.

Good looking product that works
I bought these for my deck stairs and protect slippage during the snow. Works great! I was afraid they would have slipped off stairs without something like tape to keep them put, but happily have not needed anything.
I also bought a couple to protect slippage outside of hot tub, works great there too.

Good looking and safety feature
This is my second Windsor Rubber Stair Tread and I love them. It works great as a door mat, but what I like best is that guests see it and it prevents missteps and accidents! This ia a great way to alert people to and unexpected step.

How do these stay in place? do they have some sort of sticky grip on the back to hold them?
Since they are rubber the weight of them will keep them in place.

My front steps are highly varnished wood and are extremely slippery when wet. How do your scroll treads stay in place? I am especially worried about going down the steps if the treads could slip out.
Thank you for your question. Please check with the company the designed you wood steps to see if they will react to rubber.

Will this be comfortable to walk on barefoot? And how do dogs handle walking on it? I would not want my 50 pound pup to get tripped up.
Thank you for your question. This item should not affect your dog when walking on it. The holes are small enough were his/her paws should not get tripped up in it. 50lbs and still a puppy Wow! He/She is a big puppy so the babys paws should be big enough where it wont effect her/him.

I have stone steps that can get icy in the winter. Has anyone had experience with them providing grip on icy steps?
Thank you for your question. This item is ideal for the summer and spring seasons Door mats and stair treads are a great way to keep mud and dirt at bay and prevent slipping. Please check out our Secure Step stair treads and mats item# 450196 •Instead of shoveling, use the Secure Step Stair Treads and Mat and just shake snow off
•These stair treads and entry mat are made from recycled tires
• The Secure Step Stair Treads and Mat absorb heat to help snow/ice melt faster

I like the 10x48 stair tread but need four. Can you buy a single tread?
