Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made This is a very substantial and quality piece. It solved the viewing problem plus elevated the TV with style. The wood and finish were very nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TV swivel stand This was great, I just purchased a new 42 inch TV for my bedroom and I needed a swivel stand so I could watch TV in both in bed as well as the computer on the opposite side of the room. Plus it keeps the bigger digital box as well as the DVD player under the TV...without the stand the TV and boxes were taken up 3/4 of my dresser. So this works GREAT!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far better than expected Purchased 2 weeks ago. It looks like solid wood, and extremely well made. the swivel works very smoothly. I have a 55 inch TV on it with a sound bar and it better than I thought it could possibly be. Cannot believe the quality for the money. Excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tv stand This tv stand is perfect. My tv was above a corner fireplace . I did not have room for the cable box and DVD player. This stand does the job. It fits perfectly. The corners are angled helping it to fit in an awkward space. It was easy to put together and blends perfectly with my decor. It is well made. I love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product The Wide TV Swivel Stand is what we wanted as the metal kind were complicated to assemble. This one was relatively simple to assemble - the only issue as is stated in a previous review is that one of the dowel holes was drilled to small to allow dowel to fit. I felt with the other glue and dowels in place this one could be skipped. It swivels as we would like and the bottom section being able to have the removable partition is good so we can have a sound bar in the place of other components. We have this setting on top of a stand that holds the DVR - ETC already. So overall we are happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece Needed something that would allow me to swivel the TV without bothering the cable box, Blue Ray player and the VCR (yes. we still have one). This unit was perfect! Sturdy, easy to assemble and nice looking. Very happy

How much space is needed outside the stand in order to swivel it?

I have a built in spot above fireplace and wonder if I have enough room to utilize the swivel.
Asked by: InterestedBuyer
Hello, we recommend a 37-38" diameter (the stand is 36") for the stand to swivel freely. Thanks you!

What is the largest flat screen TV that will safely fit on this stand?

Asked by: Elowin
You need determine how much space is needed for the TV stand. Some TVs have a center post on a base. I just bought a 49" Samsung 8000 series that has 2 legs (legs also curve out and the rear legs curve out more then the front legs) . The span between the rear legs is about 38". I ordered the XL model. The 49" Samsung is the largest that would fit.

Is the bottom finished so this can be used upside down to swivel just the TV?

Asked by: Irishfan
The bottom is where the swivel bearings device is located, it has the base section, then the larger stand section on top of it. So, no, unless your TV base is small enough to fit within the circular footprint of the swivel mount then I'd have to say no. Also, the whole stand has a very slick finish on it, so you might run the risk of it sliding on top of whatever other furniture you'd be laying it on.

180 degrees rotation?

Hi all, I have a 43" TV (brand is not importnant) with stand 33.55" wide. I want to be able to rotate TV by 180 degrees. Will this stand work for me? Thanks
Asked by: GeorgeNJ
It rotates as much as the surrounding environment (walls, other furniture, lamps, etc) will allow. If you have it in the center of your room with no obstructions, it will rotate 360 degrees. If you have it against a wall, it will rotate as much as the TV itself and the surrounding environment allows.

how much weight does this stand hold? I think my tv is 70 lbs.

Asked by: Lilibumbum
My Sony KDL70R550A 70" TV is about 84 pounds and it holds it and swivels just fine. I would caution against swiveling it rapidly as the high center of gravity might cause a fall. Finally, make sure the base of your TV fits within the parameters of the stand.
