Harrison Weave Washable Stair Treads-9"x29"-Set of 4 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 217.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and functional! I have just purchased my second set of these stair trends. They stay out on hardwood stairs and are easily washable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stair treads Harrison weave These wear well. This is my second set. I only changed the color for winter. They do not slide on the stair tread. I wash them in cold water and air dry. They always look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bad color I ordered the blue color in this tread. It looked like the perfect blue in the picture. However, when I received it, I was disappointed to find out that it is actually a grey. It looks nothing like the picture on-line or in the catalog. I don't know how they can call this color "blue", because it's definitely grey. Aside from the color, it's a good product at a good price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wanted to like them I ordered the beige Harrison weave washable stair treads because I have a rambunctious 50 pound puppy that loves to fly down the stairs. I agree with the other reviewers. The corners do curl. And even though they have a rubber backing, my clumsy puppy knocks them about. So I added a small triangular piece of rug tape to all four corners of 16 stair treads (that's a lot of cutting and sticking), which makes tossing them in the washer less convenient. Also, dirt and debris cling to them like velcro. Not very easy to sweep or vacuum off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very dissappointed Bought three sets of both the oval treads and rectangular treads to do two staircases. The mocha color is lovely but I have to say it mats down very quickly and I am constantly vacuuming to maintain the nap. Also I noted that the depth of the treads varies between the two styles. The oval tread measure 9 inches in depth which is perfect. However the rectangular tread measures 9 1/2 inches and extends beyond the edge of the step so both pets and humans catch the tread - a tripping hazard. As with all treads I have previously owned I tack them down with sticky tape made especially for rugs and treads but that didn't solve the problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from mine slid all over the place.... I had to use double sided tape to get them to stay in place. . but I like that they are washable and the price is pretty good and it would be a lot of trouble to send them back so I kept them. they look nice enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wood stairs much quieter. We just had wood stairs installed over existing stairs. It was amazing how much quieter it was after putting down the runners. I also like that they are able to be washed. A quick turn in the dryer on just air and they fluff right up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Needed treads for steps so our large dog wouldn't slip. These are great. They stay in place and look really good.

Has anyone noticed any staining on the stairs from the rubber backing? We have very dark wood stairs.

Asked by: Nellie50

What would be a good color for dark brown stairs?

We have finished our basement and simply painted the stairs a very dark brown. Looking at sage or burgundy color, but wasn't sure if the sage is more of a bright "mint" color or a true sage that is a bit more muted with a hint of brownish tones. Is the burgundy more deep red or pinkish? Colors online don't typically do justice to the true color.
Asked by: Univity
I have the sage color; it is soft and not bright at all. A lovely color in fact. And they look great even after washing them 3 times.

Will treads stay in place for 50 lb dogs?

I have two 14 yr old dogs who are falling down my bedroom steps, as many as 13 steps. I desperately need something to help them get up and down the steps without falling, I am afraid of broken bones. Each dog weighs about 50 lbs so as they get near the bottom of the steps there is a lot of momentum going on! Could I realistically tack or nail these treads on steps to make them stay in place? Don't feel the anti-slip will be enough to hold in place.
Asked by: PWDdogs
I have smaller dogs but I can assure you that they do not slip when my husband and I walk down them. Their performance has been safe and secure. I hope they work for you! I would try them first without tacking them down as the ability to wash them easily is a great feature.

How well do these stair treads wash? Do they still stay in place?

Asked by: Mima
They do wash and look fine (no shrinkage). But THEY DON"T STAY IN PLACE. You need to use double-stick carpet tape and then they stay in place fine.

Could you use these on carpet too?

Would they still be non slip on carpet? I have a new carpet that I want to protect from muddy teenagers, but also wanted to double check that they wouldn't stain the carpet underneath? Thanks,
Asked by: Kirsty
Thank you for your questions. The Weave Washable Stair Treads are not recommended for carpeted stairs, as they may become a tripping hazard. The latex backing will not stain the flooring underneath.
