Weave Washable Area Rug-24"x36" 4.6 5 781 781
Multiple uses Stair treads are not just for steps!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered mine to fit along the shower base since there is not room for a regular rug between that and the commode! Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 17, 2014
They stay where they are supposed to stay for the most part and easy to clean. They stay where they are supposed to stay for the most part and easy to clean. I have pets that like to run so they move slightly occasionally. April 16, 2014
These stair pads are okay for washable material, and inexpensive For the safety of our aging dog, we had to get some kind of cover on our varnished wood stairs. These serve the purpose and were reasonably priced for cheap rug material, but they had to be tacked down to prevent slipping and will be discarded when the dog dies. They are about as sturdy as toweling with a rubber backing, which is what you get with a washable rug. If you want a good, permanent stair covering, don't buy washable. Either get carpet-quality wool or nylon pads that can be tacked in place and vacuumed clean or have the stairs carpeted. April 15, 2014
Great Treads After carrying my skittish dog up and down the stairs for months, I finally found the treads I have been wanting! I didn't want a tread that had to be glued, stapled or nailed on my wood stairs. These stay in place pretty well, just minor shifting. Since they are new I haven't washed them and cannot speak to durability. There is some curling on the edges from shipping that is flattening out with time. I highly recommend! April 14, 2014

I have a large dog and four cats and very slippery stairs. I'm concerned that with running up and down the stairs, that the treads will move out of place and not stay put?

Thanks,
Sara

Answer:
Like most people, I purchased these for my aging 55 lb dog. The sage green creates high contrast and the treads are very secure under foot. The rugs shimmy a bit during the course of the day, but with my crazy sheltie running up and down playing with the cats, that is to be expected. Purchased the larger rugs for the foot of the stairs and in a hallway--again truly non slip, very secure. Super easy to clean/vacuum or toss in the laundry.

Answer:
HI SaraM. Yes, yes - I have slippery wood stairs and was VERY skeptical, too. I'm SO pleased with these tread carpets. They really don't move at all. My goldens are 57 and 78 pounds, and my girl has a neck injury, so I'm VERY concerned about her safety. I also have a seventeen year old cat who's balance isn't what it used to be. These have eased my concerns a ton for them all!! I definitely recommend these tread carpets.
Good Luck!!

Answer:
I bought these treads for two painted wooden garage steps. I bought them because I have a dog with very poor eyesight, and the white treads help him orient himself because they're easy to see. That being said, he's a small dog, about 15 lbs, and doesn't run much. They stay put pretty well (occasional movement) but I wouldn't count on it if a large dog goes bounding up the stairs. The cats shouldn't be a problem. That being said, they're very good looking, easy to wash and seem to be high quality.

Try 2 face carpet tape. My last treads I kept down with a hot glue gun, but this won't work with the rubber backing.

Answer:
Sara,
We have very active grandkids that come to visit and run up and down our stairs chasing each other. The treads that we have stay in place. There is sometimes a little movement on the tread that is on the bottom step because of them jumping off of it. We have had ours for about a month now and are very pleased. We have not tacked them down nor taped them. Hope this helps.

Yes. I put these down on wood treads & they stay put...no bunching or slipping. I have a small Westie that had taken a couple of spills down the stairs & had trouble getting up them, when we took off the old carpet, & she has no problem now.

Yes, I have them over my berber carpet. Just watch your patterns. If your picky like me you don't want to mix too many patterns with patterns over it. I have a textured speckled berber carpet and I use the ivory set. We think it looks good.

Answer:
I use a piece of material that is very sticky on both sides under the rug. Because the rug is round, I just cut the stuff to the appropriate size. We do have carpet, but not the berber (because of the cats claws). I use this under some rugs in one of the carpeted bathrooms also. You can probably order such a thing on line or find it at a bed/bath store.

Its a creamy color with gray and light brown print. Also has some light blue and dark brown in it for the print. The main rug is a true creamy ivory color. Not khaki or tan. Very nice color. I too was worried, but am very pleased at how nice it looks.
