French Door Walk Thru Screen 60" x 80" is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 214.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Walk thru screen Purchased this based upon reviews, not sure how this got such high reviews. This will NOT keep flies out! There are only 3 small pieces of Velcro on each side (top, middle and bottom) and it doesn't stay secure as you or your dog goes through it. More Velcro could GREATLY improve this product. Also the magnet closure works when you walk outside but when you come back in through the door the magnets don't work well. So again flies come in because it doesn't securely close. I still have to get up and fix the door every time my dog comes in, so I may as well just get up and open the door.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Screen works pretty well Purchased screen because adult children's dogs had run through regular slide screens. I would like more Velcro on the sides to hold screen in place so bugs can't get in. Good price & good quality. Hoping it will last!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from walk thru screen for french doors I've had one a smaller version of this screen before, for a sliding glass door and really wanted one for my new home that has French doors leading outside. This was somewhat disappointing. The closure between the screen panels is only held together with 4 square magnets, you pretty much have to "manually" reconnect them after you walk through and even after doing that there are some gaps for the bugs to get in. The one I had before the whole inner edge was magnetized, so closed completely and automatically. I do like the installation of this one better, with the curtain rod attachment at the top and Velcro sides rather than Velcro all around top and sides that my previous one had. This does serve its purpose, it MOSTLY keeps the bugs out and allows my dog to come and go, but I'll keep searching for one with the other closure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walk through screen I really love this product. I bought cheaper screens that didn't work. This one works because of the tension rod and the weights at the bottom. I had my patio door made so it swings out, therefore I cannot have a regular screen door. This screen fills the space perfectly. There are adhesive stickers on the sides. I am not using those but the screens stay at the sides anyway. Because of recent cooler weather I have left the back door open during the day with only the screen as protection and I have not found any insects inside the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs We are in a rental apartment while looking for a new home since moving to California. This screen allows us to leave the door open for some fresh air (without the bugs) while eliminating the need to put in a permanent screen which is not allowed in the complex. Very happy with the purchase . The product is well made with sturdy material and easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bugs Stay Out! This is my fourth screen. I have used them for many years in both my kitchen french door and my entry front door. They are easy to install, but I also add thin strips of Velcro done the sides of the screen and the sides of the door. This holds the screen securely, otherwise the bottom Velcro tabs do not hold. This is the reason I did not give it higher marks for quality and finish. This is a valid and economical way to keep the bugs out and let the air into your house without spending hundreds of dollars on retractable or permanent screen doors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy peasy So easy to set up and put up and take down. There is a strong odor though to it that finally is dissipating after 2 wks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More magnets I had been wanting a screen door, but because of an overhang a door doesn't work. This solves my problem and it is also an excellent dog door. My only suggestion is MORE magnets on the lower half to ensure the screen closes by itself.

Can you cut sceen to 80 in?

Asked by: Livewire
Hello. We have screens that are meant to fit the standard measurement of 80". We can not recommend cutting the screen, as altering the item would void our liberal 1-year warranty. Thanks for contacting Improvements.

I have a door 30.5 x 96 will the 32x96 work.? Ready to order

Asked by: jayneemarie
I would think it would be the right size, definitely don't get a smaller size for sure because the magnets won't reach each other.

Does the screen darken the interior room at all?

I'd like to get one of these for my french doors that open onto a wrap around porch. The interior room doesn't get a lot of light and I don't want to darken it anymore. Does the screen darken the room or the existing view? The pictures of the screen makes it look dark.
Asked by: UnderPar
No not at all! There is not difference with or without it and you can see through it as if it's not there.

Door frame is 33"

I have a door frame that is 33 inches. Would I be better off with the 32" or the 36" screen?
Asked by: Jeninutah
Go wider. You don't want gaps on the side letting bugs in.

Does it stay closed when there's a strong breeze?

Is it weighted on the bottom? When there is a nice breeze, does it stay in place, or does a breeze cause it to gap so bugs can get in?
Asked by: Teza
It is weighted on bottom and has stick-on tapes for each side, whch we have not used yet in case we want to put it somewhere else.
