Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the trick! We bought this for our back door that gets the afternoon sun. This roller shade is unobtrusive and provides just the right amount of shade while still letting light through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Class Had closed venetian blinds for privacy. Started out buying 4, loved everything about them and ordered 3 more. Especially liked the chocolate ones. They look nice from the outside as well as from the inside. Brightens the house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely product. I love everything about these shades except they're very hard for me to keep them at the level I want. The shades move all the way to the top when I want them to stop so they're within reach. I've had to use a step stool to reach the pull. Other than that, they're very attractive!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good but.... this roller screen is a nice product but for the roller being very slow to roll up. We used it to cover a 15 light glass door and fits the bill just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Sunscreen shade Very good shade. Easy to install. Good instructions.. I was looking for a good solar shade for years. My cordless roller that I purchased was 31 inches. Shade works fine thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more wearing sunglasses during dinner... We own a home that the kitchen gets the sun in the west, especially when we are ready to eat our evening meal. On sunny days it can become unbearable as the sun shines directly into our eyes thus having to either move elsewhere or wear sunglasses while we eat. I did a search on a sunscreen blind and found this one. I ordered it and immediately installed it when it arrived. All I can say is that IT WORKS!! We can now stay put with the added bonus of being able to see outside. What a great item to have and use year round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product We've been looking for a solution to blocking strong afternoon sun in our formal living room without adversely affecting the look of our window treatment. These blinds have done the trick. Inconspicuous when raised and attractive when pulled down. They soften rather than block the view and protect our curtains, furniture and floor from sun damage. An excellent solution.

Sunscreen cordless roller shade 33"

Can theses shades be cut down to 32 3/8's? Love the shade but as you can tell they are a tad too large. I hope you can help me. Thanks, Carol Shepherd

Hello, we do not recommend cutting or altering the item in any way. Altering an item would void any warranties against manufacturer defects. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your time!

installation and mounting process

We have a sunroom that has no shades, blinds or cover to protect from the heat of the sun, especially in the afternoon. My husband and I are interested in your Sunscreen shades. My question is, can the Sunscreen Cordless Roller Shade "head rail" be mounted sideways, above the frame of the glass window (not the top side facing downward above the glass window). What I mean by "sideways", when the headrail is mounted the screws will be facing toward you (not downward). The reason I'm asking this question, because the top side of the glass window frame has only 7/8" space available which is very narrow to accommodate the mounting of the Sunscreen Shade's headrail. Hope you're understanding what I mean. Thank you!

Inside mount behind shutters?

I realize that instructions state "Shades flush mounted, a minimum of 3-1/2" is required. For all other inside mounting, a minimum of 1-1/2" is recommended." That doesn't exactly make it clear to me for where I want to put mine. What is the maximum thickness of the roll part of the mounting at the top? And what is the length measurement of the bracket--the part that is screwed to the top inside surface? I have a 2 1/2" wide surface that is recessed because shutters are mounted in front of the opening. Really need some shade on these south facing windows! Thanks

Thank you for your questions. The header roll is 3" and the bracket is 1".
