I love these lights!
I bought these lights two weeks ago and while they don’t provide very much lighting, they create an amazing outdoor ambiance. The lights stay on for at least 6 hours and are a welcome addition to my backyard.

My back yard is full of these!
I have bought many sets of these over the years. When the plastic outsides eventually dry out, become brittle and fall apart (I live in the desert), I still use the colored lights in the trees. They are great!

Solar hanging lights
I received a set for a present. They are hanging in the backyard pine tree. Adds so much to the patio ambiance. So pleased, i ordered 2 more for the front yard tree and get many.compliments from neighbors. Sorry, I don't want to tell them where I got them. Selfish, but I want to enjoy not be copied. I have told others tho....

Hard to handle
I should have read the description more closely. I think that these lights are a bit hard to handle. I bought them to hang in a large shrub but it is difficult to keep them untangled long enough to get them on limbs. Then, there is no clip to help them stay in place. I am not sure about their use as patio lights as the solar panel is meant to be staked in the ground. I still haven’t managed to find an alternate use for them. They are pretty.

disappointed
I owned these lights a few years ago. We absolutely loved them. unfortunately squirrels keep biting the cords till they were ruined. We recently bought three strands to go around a pergola and NO squirrels. Unfortunately, the lights are only turning blue and red with some green every now and again. Wrote customer service about it but have heard nothing.

Lights up patio
We love these lights. They sparkle and change colors throughout the night. We just have given ours to a friend who went on hospice so she could look at some beauty in the night. We came home and ordered more for ourselves.
They have replaceable battery for the solar pad so hopefully will last all season and even more.
Shipping was fast and product was packed well.

can you stop the every 4 second color change?
I love the idea of the solar powered outdoor string lights - perhaps it's solely me, but the color changing every 4 seconds sounds absolutely maddening. Can you select to keep them one color? How about change every 10 minutes? And solar powered string lights for the Zen meditation garden/deck?
Thank you for your question. Please see the answers below.

Can you purchase replacement solar panels for these lights?
I have 2 sets of these lights, but they do not light anymore and I think it may be because the solar panel is not working. I loved them and I was wondering if I could replace just the solar panels.
Change the batteries in the solar panel

Does the solar panel come with a building/post attachment as well, or does it have to be staked into the ground?
The post can be taken apart and has brackets that could be affixed to a post.

middle of the night
Hello.
Sometimes in the middle of the night if im awake I notice the lights are just red and not multi colored anymore.
Is this typical?
I just ordered another strand as I love the lights when they change.
Im not sure though if my first ones are working accurately.
thanks for your help.
I noticed the same thing with some of mine.....honestly, I think it has to do with how much sunshine they are getting during the daylight hours....another set (that got more sunshine) lasted a lot longer and still changed color :-)

Can these lights be left outside all winter? We live in northern VA.
I haven't had them outside yet during winter, but I know they are very hardy during summer thunderstorms. I will probably bring mine in during winter (I am in Pennsylvania).

Can you hook these sets together to make a longer strand, or does each set have to have its own solar power hookup
