3 Step Safety Ladder is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from safety first A sturdy, safe alternative to any stepstool or ordinary smaller sized ladder. Wide rubberized steps and padded handrails on both sides make you feel secure on all steps. Cons include that it's manageable to move around, but it's not a lightweight ladder. Also, assembling the handrails to the sides takes a bit of skill. Overall, a good product, would recommend especially for older folks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great concept; some quirks New tall cabinets in the kitchen and I can't reach that far. The ladder allows for full access with a step to spare. That's great...'s a heavy unit and cumbersome, so it has to be stored in the garage. Having to haul it, makes it less readily available for most uses. The mechanism that locks the steps in place is awkwardly placed. You have to reach under the top step - not impossible. However, to release it, the lever does not do the job. My husband has to manhandle it . That works if he is home - not really convenient. We had high hopes for this and still think it will be a useful item, just not as user friendly as we would like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 step Ladder with hand rails Four step ladder is the best thing for our family. We are both a little tippy and the hand rails are the best thing for us. We feel secure up and down the ladder. We don't have to wait to for someone to come over and change it for us.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LOOKED GOOD BUT IN PERSON NOT SO HOT Got this because I thought it would be light weight making it easy to carry around, WRONG. Heavy. Bought it because of the 4 large steps that hold the whole foot. WRONG. They do, once you get to the step you need, but getting there is a challenge. Because of the way the steps are placed, when climbing you can only get the front quarter of your foot on the step. So you have to climb up on your toes as the step above is blocking you. The steps are stacked right on top of one another!!! When you hang on to the handrails (which was another reason I bought it) the steps are so steep that the front legs tend to come up off the ground or floor. Going to return it but found out it was past the 30 days to return it so guess I am stuck with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety Step Ladder Used this ladder as soon as we had the handles on it. I feel so much safer and confident climbing this in my kitchen that has very high cabinets. It is a little heavy to move around but this reinforces the fact that it is a very stable ladder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The perfect ladder for getting older Side rails and a top rail to hold onto and lean against makes this ladder perfect for my age - 67 - and enables me to get rid of two others. I had trouble attaching the two side handles solidly; a workman muscled them tight and they are great. It is heavy to move and I don't care; I can still move it. I feel safe on it, and can reach my garage loft easily, to work up there. What a blessing. I am recommending this ladder to everyone who comes by. What's missing? Wheels for moving, lockable, like you see on the bottom of movable ladders at Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Four Step Safety Ladder Excellent product. I feel secure on this ladder. If I could give this a ten rating, I would. I've already recommended this ladder to my friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Step ladder I wanted the ladder to help me feel more secure when I am up higher than a few feet. It does not lock into place by itself when opened. It is very awkward to hold the ladder and hammer down the latch. It should line up and slide into place but does not do so. If I had not destroyed the packing - I would have sent it back.
