Suncast Outdoor Privacy Screen-White is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! This was purchased to block the noise from the a/C unit. It cuts the noise about 30% and looks very nice. It comes with 8 inch spikes for securing into the ground. I love the soft taupe color, I wanted it to blend into the background and not stand out. Very happy to have this and wish I had purchased it as soon as I saw it Pasha

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job! Much easier and quicker than having an enclosure built for our trash/recycling bins. Matches the house and looks very cute.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Resin is never the material of quality appearance but this 4 screen item gets the job done. Ground stake system does not work for a brick patio but creativity can be used to fasten the screens to available structures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hide the ugly gas meter Using this to hide the ugly gas meter in our yard. Works great! Easy to assemble & color matched our area perfectly. Wish it was a little shorter maybe a little less $, but it's getting the job done & looks nice!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from flimsy I bought this to hide trash cans from the street and bought 4 extra stakes to make sure it stays in place. We cannot get it to stand up straight no matter what we do. The panels themselves are narrow making it hard to place it in such a way the cans will fit behind it and that we can get the out on trash day. I do like the taupe color but wish I had bought something more expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Privacy screeens Could have been a little sturdier; they tend to wobble with the wind. I did not expect that. I will have to wait and see how they stand up in the Arizona sun :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For the price, it's a good value. I would like it to be a little more sturdy but then it would be more expensive. So, for the price, this product is a good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Look! We have been looking for something different to put around our Air Conditioner unit outside, we had something already but wanted a change. We found these online - THEY ARE PERFECT - we ordered another set to complete the look & also hide the meters and cable box. They are a very good size. We would recommend these very much and the process was easy and shipping was great. Thank You Nancy

Sound?

Does this help muffle the A/C sound migrating to neighboring yards a bit?
Asked by: Bailes
Hello, this will not muffle sounds unfortunately. The screen is more for protection for the air conditioning unit from damage and being an eyesore. Thank you!

Will this restrict air flow? How much clearance from A/C unit?

I get different answers online when searching. Will this fence restrict air flow to my A/C units? What clearance should be okay? 6 inches? 1 foot? Restricting air flow can eventually wear out the A/C unit and also higher electricity bills.
Asked by: HouseBuilder328
Thank you for your questions. Improvements recommends at least 6 inches clearance. The panels have an open lattice design at the top and there is a gap between each panels which provides enough room for air flow.

Will it stand up on concrete/agegate?

I want to use it to hide our pool pump
Asked by: TeresaBissell
Thank your for your question. This item will not be stable on a concrete surface. We recommend using our Metal Garden Stakes to stabilize it on a softer ground or grass surface.

SIZE & MAINTENANCE

What is the size of the panels? And is this item maintenance free?
Asked by: stutz
Thank you for your question. The specifications are listed under the specifications tab. The measurement is 23"W x 44"H x 2" Thick each panel. This are maintenance free, however if they do get slightly covered with dirt or grass clippings, etc. You can simply hose them off.

catalog states that powder-coated steel post stakes are included but the online description says they are extra. What's up?

Asked by: jayj332
The included post stakes are probably sufficient if the fence is installed in a no wind area and there is no associated bumping. They may also be somewhat difficult to drive into the ground perfectly straight. The GROUND STAKES sole separately have four wings that are underground and help with stability of the fence. The included post stakes are inserted into the ground stakes.

Use on deck

Can this privacy screen stand alone on a deck without falling over?
Asked by: Lynnbug
Thank you for your question. These are designed to be staked into the ground. If placed on a deck there is no way to secure them and they will fall over.
