Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table This table lived up to my expectations 100% Assembly went quickly with no surprises I would only hope it came in more sizes and possibly with drawers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good quality I honestly thought these would be "temporary" end tables to put next to our adjustable bed. Based on the price, I thought we'd have to find something better eventually. However, when they arrived and I put them together, I was surprised at the good quality. I'm only giving them 4 stars because we haven't had them long enough to comment on the performance/durability, and because the instructions for assembly weren't the greatest. I did put them together on my own, though. It doesn't take 2 people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value This product is exactly what l was looking for. My son said it took a couple of hours to put together. It looks perfect in my living room and does what I was hoping for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recliner table Made my husband happy. Works well with his new recliner. Good storage and a solid piece.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Recliner side table This piece is poorly made. Very difficult to assemble. A number of "pre-drilled" holes weren't. Some were in the wrong place or "off" and didn't line up. Final product has gaps because holes didn't match. Two pieces of wood were warped. Would have returned this item if I hadn't spent so much time putting it together. Unlikely that I will purchase from Inprovements again once I use my Buyers Club coupons. I will post pic of finished product on my Facebook page so others can be warned not to buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect side table I had a specific place in mind with very specific size requirements. This table is exactly what I wanted. The style fits with my other furniture, and it's sturdy and beautiful. The only problem we had with assembly is we had to drill 2 holes because the pre-drilled holes were't deep enough. I highly recommend this table.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I liked the table but assembling it was challenge at times. Please tell your manufacturer to be more accurate in lining up the holes for the screws. Most of them lined up but the door hinges were a particular challenge and I had to drill new holes. Also had to use a mallet to get a particular part to fit and in the process damaged the finish.

Does this side table have a finished back or does it need to be placed against a wall

Asked by: KathyD
Kathy...this table has an awesome finish and looks great from any of the four sides. It can be used on either side of the recliner, chair or couch. It's an awesome piece of furniture and one you'll not find anywhere in stores that I've seen.

I would use as a snack table.

I have COPD and would use table to lean on when I'm on the couch. I would sometimes lean forward on it (tipping it forward). Been looking a laptop tables, snack tables small desk tables. They are either to big or not durable enough. This seems like the perfect size and appears durable. How much does it weigh? How thick is the top? I weigh 215 lbs. Do you think it would support my weight leaning on it? I look forward to your answer.

It is a really sturdy table, and should support your weight as long as you're not trying to lean on one of the pull-out surfaces (there's one for the front and one for the back). It is actually quite heavy, so I put it sliders under each leg to let me move it for cleaning. The top piece of wood is 5/8", but the entire top part (above the open shelf) is 2" to accommodate the two pull out tables.
