Small Pet Screen Door is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 129.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good Does not stay together at all.. regret installing in and it has only been 1 hour. Ugh screen already cut so not sure what I am going to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Large Pet Screen Door The two sides do not hold together on the screen very well with the press together fasteners, especially in the hot weather when the plastic gets hot. Recommend the manufacturer change to a screwed together fastener.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pet Door I am sending this pet door back. The quality wasn't good it was warped and one of the pegs was bent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from screened dog door This is amazing! Perfect for a screen door! Not heavy at all and super easy to assemble! I wanted something that would basically blend and not have to worry about painting. This is more than perfect! Cant say enough good things about it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Small Pet Door Does not snap together like it is supposed to. Had to use glue to keep together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dog Door Love the door and so does our dog. This is our third. Bought 2nd for new house. Bought 3rd because we replaced our whole sliding door and screen system. Dog was very unhappy with new sliding door until we installed his screen door. Now everyone very happy. He comes and goes as he pleases. We can keep his water and food inside all day now (away from insects) as he can come in when he wants some. Only complaint is that it does need to have screws put in at the top corners to keep it together on screen. Otherwise it's great! Highly recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mid Installation Attempt I'm taking a mid install break, on a screen door with a new 'pet' grade fabric screen. As several other reviewers have noted, the pet door has a tendency to pop apart even after the most forceful attempts to click the two halves together. It is possible that this would function correctly using a light gauge screen - the packaging claims "Use with any screening product, including Pet Screen, pet-resistant insect screening" The good news is that I have come to a halt before slicing the door opening. After some further trials, we decided it is going back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice door It's nice to have a screen pet door option. It allows us to have fresh air from the screen door and the dogs can come and go as they please. Installation was pretty simple. Some of the snap areas of the frame don't want to stay as tight as I think they should but the door seem to be working fine.

I am having a hard time trying to keep the 2 pieces attached.

They fully insert in one spot, but then when I move to another spot to snap that part together, the other one pops back out. If I use glue to help secure it, what type should I use?
Asked by: SawyersMom
Had the same problem. Tried clamping the pieces with no luck. Then I even used a hammer and that didn't work. Finally I used 1/2 inch self tapping screws. Sorry I even bothered with this product

is this door big enough to accommodate an 80 pound furry dog?

Asked by: cennino
It accommodates my 75-lb lab mix fine, but she has short hair. I guess it depends on how furry your dog is, but I do not think you will have a problem. Though, if his fur makes it a tight fit, he may take the screen door with him when he goes through, so I would stand close by the first time he uses it.

Yes, I think that's what it is designed for. It is what I installed mine on.

The opening is 12 x 16, but what is the overall measurement?

Asked by: sarely
No. That is just the opening, not including the frame. With frame overall measurement is just under 14" wide by 18" tall.
