How are these planters self watering? There are 3/4" holes for drainage and I can drill a 1.375" hole in the basin to fill lower basin with sand/gravel for stability. Where is the water reservoir since the bottom has a drainage hole in the bottom cavity?

Asked by: WJZ123
Holes are drilled in the center of the planter - not the bottom,

We live in a windy area so am wondering about stability. I like the tall design but it seems top heavy if hollow on the bottom?

What is the base diameter?
