Ironing Center is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 150.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ironing board center I purchased this about a month ago and my son assembled it for me for Mothers Day. I am so happy, got it at a sale price. It is very sturdy and a real space saver for my small sewing room. I love it! And, more places to stash my yarn!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dirty and poorly made The bamboo had gaping wholes and knots all over. It felt like it was made of paper. It was dirty. I sent it back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great product that could be better I'm mostly happy with this. It's sturdy. It's pretty. It looks so much better than the typical ironing board taking up most of a wall with no place to store the iron and related clothing care items. Unfortunately, I found the baskets and their shelves too short (shallow) to store either my iron or my bottle of spray starch or any other related clothing care products. Since storage was one of the attractions of this product, that's a pretty big downside. Although two deeper baskets or one deeper basket and two shallow ones might seem less desirable from a design/appearance standpoint, such an arrangement would make the Ironing Center more useful for its supposed purpose. Another improvement would be to make it possible to replace the beautiful toil ironing board cover when it gets worn. New, it is just so attractive. What a pity there is no way to keep it that way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small space solution Fits perfectly in the small space in the bathroom. Looks better than in the picture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Practical but overpriced Very useful because this compact ironing center opens into a full ironing board and can be wheeled to where you need it. However, it is overpriced for the quality. Baskets are wobbly and held together by the fabric liner. Wait for a good sale price to buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact but functional Bought this to replace a large ironing board that kept getting in the way; great size and the storage is an added bonus.

How do you attach the wheels

Asked by: Nickie
The wheels come with a screw & washer already attached and all you do is screw them into the legs. So simple & easy to do.

How high without wheets?

The height listed is just an inch too high for the place I want to put this unit. So, is this height with or without wheels? What would the height be without wheels?
Asked by: Gardenerplus
Without the wheels the height is 33 1/2 in

Are there replacement covers available for the ironing center

Asked by: lojea
not yet that I know about; but I have asked them to make them because I love a beautiful home, love this ironing station, and because I love to live in "beauty", it would be great to be able to also change the fabric down the road, even if one wanted to redecorate. I think this ironing station is so gorgeous, so beautifully functional and well made. All it needs is replacement covers for the board and drawers that can be washed and air dryed. Let's not give up hope! They just may be working on them :) In the meantime, just measure your board and buy an ironing board cover to fit it. When you're done ironing, take the fabric off so you can fold down your board and store the extra one in one of the drawers. I hope I helped you enough.

How do you change the ironing board pad when it gets worn

I will use this for quilting, so I need to be able to change the cover and the pad when they wear out. Can you order this?
Asked by: scotchbrand
Either you buy a regular ironing board cover that fits your board unfolded (measure your board lengthwise and its wides width in the center), use it and then remove it so you can close down the size (storing it in one of the drawers) or, if you can sew, you will need to make a fabric cover for it in 3 parts, to close with pull strings so you can tie each 1/3rd of the board and leave it on the board. In this manner, you can remove it, wash it and air dry when needed. One other suggestion is to buy an extra large ironing board cover (thick and quilted) and use that to put on top while you work so you do not destroy the fabric. Hope that helped you. :)

What changes have you made in the new taupe frame edition?

I read that the ironing board cover is made of polyester and can melt. Has this problem been remedied in the new taupe edition? Have the covers on the white and black ironing centers been replaced or are they still melt able??
Asked by: Mtnsis
I had the black and white cover which melted on contact which doesn't make sense for an ironing board. DUH Need to rethink cover fabric
