Ironing Center is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 137.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from while the ironing center is what i wanted , i have to say the entire unit has a mildew smell to it . I had to wash the basket covers before i could use them Not sure if it is the baskets that have an odor. I'm sure i will enjoy it though

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ironing Center I love it - I have wanted the center for over a year and was finally able to get it. It has certainly lived up to my expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for small space I don’t iron much but wanted a compact, easy to use ironing board when I do. No need to keep a big ironing board set up, this one folds down or can be used for folding clothes. One negative is that the screws designed to hold the ironing board in place do not hold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Provides a lovely convenience I really like the convenience of this item for my sewing room. My only reason for marking it 4 stars instead of 5 is that you cannot use your iron on the hot setting...the cover will melt!! I solved the problem by buying a new heavier duty cover for the board area, and while it doesn't exactly fit the contours of this board, it's close and it made using a hot iron completely safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I had my eye on this items for quite some time - the price is what prevented me from purchasing. I should have kept with my gut. the The first time I went to use it the back piece with the metal tray fell off This was not the part that required assembly it was already assembled. The screws that held that piece to the base were less 1/4 inch and cold not sustain the weight. I purchased new screws about 3/4 inch - it is holding for now - however the screws are pushing out the other side to the inning board surface. Will see if this holds it in place - otherwise I will return. Needless to say a lot of effort for a $150 ironing board

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a small sewing area. I sew in a small nook and this ironing center size is perfect. Easily moved. The only problem was the smell in the beginning, I had to set it out in our garage for a week to air it out. Is fine now. Basket quality is not the best.

How do you attach the wheels

Asked by: Nickie
The wheels come with a screw & washer already attached and all you do is screw them into the legs. So simple & easy to do.

How high without wheets?

The height listed is just an inch too high for the place I want to put this unit. So, is this height with or without wheels? What would the height be without wheels?
Asked by: Gardenerplus
Without the wheels the height is 33 1/2 in

Are there replacement covers available for the ironing center

Asked by: lojea
not yet that I know about; but I have asked them to make them because I love a beautiful home, love this ironing station, and because I love to live in "beauty", it would be great to be able to also change the fabric down the road, even if one wanted to redecorate. I think this ironing station is so gorgeous, so beautifully functional and well made. All it needs is replacement covers for the board and drawers that can be washed and air dryed. Let's not give up hope! They just may be working on them :) In the meantime, just measure your board and buy an ironing board cover to fit it. When you're done ironing, take the fabric off so you can fold down your board and store the extra one in one of the drawers. I hope I helped you enough.

How do you change the ironing board pad when it gets worn

I will use this for quilting, so I need to be able to change the cover and the pad when they wear out. Can you order this?
Asked by: scotchbrand
Either you buy a regular ironing board cover that fits your board unfolded (measure your board lengthwise and its wides width in the center), use it and then remove it so you can close down the size (storing it in one of the drawers) or, if you can sew, you will need to make a fabric cover for it in 3 parts, to close with pull strings so you can tie each 1/3rd of the board and leave it on the board. In this manner, you can remove it, wash it and air dry when needed. One other suggestion is to buy an extra large ironing board cover (thick and quilted) and use that to put on top while you work so you do not destroy the fabric. Hope that helped you. :)

What changes have you made in the new taupe frame edition?

I read that the ironing board cover is made of polyester and can melt. Has this problem been remedied in the new taupe edition? Have the covers on the white and black ironing centers been replaced or are they still melt able??
Asked by: Mtnsis
I had the black and white cover which melted on contact which doesn't make sense for an ironing board. DUH Need to rethink cover fabric
