Resin Planter Fountain is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Resin Planter Fountain I had been looking for a fountain for my back yard. Water falling is very relaxing for me. My husband received your catalog and saw the fountain! We placed the order and received it quickly! The only issue we had was the directions. We received 1 page of directions with the order. My husband had to go on line to find better directions and printed them out. It was 2 pages of information. Once he had that it was easy to put together. May I suggest you include both pages of directions in the order and it will make it easier for people to put it together. I really enjoy the fountain, it is very relaxing! I did get a floral plant and and re-potted the plant in the pot for the top of the fountain and it looks very nice! I am very happy with my fountain!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Resin Planter Fountain This fountain was very difficult to put together and we still can't get it completely level. It is barely off so the water doesn't drain through all the holes. And you have to put more water in it at least every 2 days. It is pretty and I like it. We put a brick in the planter to hold it down because it does not attach.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Product / Instruction Photos Are Poor This is a pretty fountain. The pot on top cannot be fastened on, so it seems it will occasionally blow off. Instructions were mostly clear, except the photo of the base and pump. That photo was so blurry that it is not clear where in the base the pump should go! Instructions could have been more specific to make up for the unclear photo. Now that the entire fountain is screwed together, we will see if it works. If not, we'll have to take it all apart and keep guessing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not worth the money The directions were difficult to understand on how to assemble the pump and tubing. The picture was not clear at all and the tubing that goes from the top down the inside and thru the notch to hook up to the pump, is way too short. And it kinks when it goes thru the notch. I had to buy a longer tube and will have to put a hole in the top of the base pole in order to hook the pump to the tubing so it won't kink off. If I put the pump inside by the pole, it will not get water and it does not fit. The directions are not clear on this, even though I went on the internet to get better details. Also, the picture shows the fountain to be a gold color, and it is a very dark brown. It resembles cheap plastic. Cannot comment on performance as I haven't been able to put it totally together to use it. Still trying to figure out how to attach the pump so it will work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the quality I expected I did not expect this "resin" (it's PLASTIC) fountain to be so flexible and prone to warping in shipping. It also did not assemble as the instructions stated but instead I had to purchase some extra screws and drill some additional holes to secure the parts and prevent strong winds to flip it apart. The pump is really strong and works well. We could not use the planter as advertised because, again, winds would knock it off the top. If we did place it on top of the fountain, dead leaves and flower parts could clog the pump and water flow. Not worth the money. However, it does look good when it is set up and should last a long time since plastic is pretty tough.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be Pepared to Spend Time both during and after assembly. Pillar did not mate with base and was hard to connect. Hard to level the base and pillar even on a level deck surface. Really disappointed that the pump can not be reached for adjustment without disassembling the unit. Must evacuate the whole unit to service. Pump capacity on full did not deliver flow expected. Unit looks good, but has some basic design flaws that will make make it hard to live with. Instructions, both on the box and online were not well written or clear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent fountain for the price This fountain is made of a hard resin that looks like plastic, but harder. I hope it will resist warping. My only complaint is that the screws are not appropriate for the assembly. They provide plenty of wood screws, but the holes for the screws are too big to hold it together, for the most part. I used them rather as pegs to just align the parts. I may take it apart and secure it with nuts and bolts. But it is beautiful and works well.

Can this fountain be converted to solar and if so how?

Asked by: Gloclmn
Thank you for your question. Yes, we provide a solar pump kit that is battery operated, but runs on solar power. It is sold separately. Solar panel needs to be placed in the sunlight, facing the sun. When properly charged, pump can work both day and night. A timer switch allows the pump to run 15 minutes every hour, saving the battery energy

Is there a power cord and if so how long is it? The photo has this in the middle of grass with no outlet or cord in sight.

Asked by: KimNoele
Yes the cord is about 4'long.

Confused about where the pump should be how can I adjust water level and pump function if it is inside the pole?

Asked by: Mata
Mata, we're also confused about where the pump should be. We've also placed it in the pole-like part of the base. The instructions and photo should be more specific / clear.
