Doorway Garland Hanger-Single is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased with my garland hanger! I have been looking for several years to find something that would allow me to hang garland without putting holes in my door frame. The finish is so pretty that it adds to the look of the garland and works perfectly! Next year, I am looking forward to using it in the fall, as well as Christmas! I will be telling all of my friends about this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged stucco on front door When it was placed on the stucco that surrounds my front door, and pushed taunt, it separated the stucco from the seams.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Garland door hanger The hanger was very easy to assemble. I have had no problems with it staying up and I have a large garland on it. The only problem was that I needed to make sure I put the hanger right on the edge of the door way so I could get the garland around the hooks on the outside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well constructed & attractive garland hanger The garland hanger was fairly easy to assemble, just a couple of screws and cotter pins. It took a couple of tries to get the width just right, but once that's done you'll never have to adjust it. I bought the double door size which works perfectly with my single door and 2 sidelights. Plenty of room to expand if I had a double door. Hanger looks as nice as pictured. The pads that touch the door frame are white and look to be made of silicone. Non-marring and flexible so there is a good grip. I added two 9' strands of garland that have lights & decorations and there has been no slipping. I would definitely purchase this again if I had another door that needed a garland.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Front door garland hanger Beautiful look to front door. Beats putting nails in the framework.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Make sure it fits before purchasing Purchased this for my double doors. Would not stay up. If you don't have a big frame around the door then the side pieces don't have a good grip. I got it up but it scratched the door where the jams are. I ended up returning it because I couldn't use it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware Only buy this hanger if your door/window edging is smooth. It will not suspend against rough stone or brick! It is also very heavy. The directions are useless.

What is the difference between the Single and Double hanger. I also am not sure how the side extension works. Wish the video showed these.

Asked by: CharlieA7
Probably the width. Check the width range in the item description. The hangars are adjustable.

Is this able to be used on a stone surface or does it have to be perfectly flat on the anchor sides?

Asked by: cdmom2
NO. It will NOT work on a stone surface. I am returning mine for that reason.

Can this be used with a storm door?

I have a storm door in addition to my front door. Will this work with a storm door? I sure hope so as it looks like the solution to my decorating challenge for hanging garland during the holidays!
Asked by: alisrakin
I do not think this will work if you have a storm door that opens out. It hangs to low and the door will probably hit the garland as you open it. This would not have worked in our previous home due to that issue.

What are the dimensions of the part that goes against the door jamb? How far does the garland support protrude from the horizontal bar?

Asked by: Elmira
The support bar ends are approximately 4 inches and the garland support extends to approximately 6 inches.

Why is there a left side and a right side? Is the middle rod sold separately?

Asked by: CKTW
Thank you for your question. The Garland Hanger Extensions are an add-on item for the Garland Doorway Hanger when additional support is needed to display garland around the side lights on either side of a door. The Garland Doorway Hanger is not available at this time.

I have to side lights would I need to get two extensions?

the door width is 34 3/4 inches and each side light measures 15 1/4 inches

will it work for my door?

Like another reader, I have a storm door, however I have side lights windows on either side of the front door, so I am wondering if getting the double size hanger might work if I use the frame around the side lights instead of the single door frame? thanks!
Asked by: loop
Thank you for your question. The Doorway Garland Hangers - Single will only work if the door frame is recessed back a bit from the frame around the sidelites. The garland hanger is a straight rod that goes between the two frame sides, if the door frame in the middle interrupts that "straight shot" across needed by the hanger, then it won't work.
