1-Car-Garage Screen Kit (8' W x 7' tall) is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for the price I have a four foot covered area in front of the front door, but mosquitoes and other bugs collect there in the summer and every time you open the door after dark you get a swarm in the house. I hung this up in front of the overhang, and the slit down the middle makes it easy to walk through. I took the inside two poles out of the bottom so that the screen moves more freely when walked through. It is doing the job!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a find great product makes use of space that isn't generally useable due to insect problems. I haven't seen another product like it anywhere. Works great, easy to install, stays put.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the $$ This is exactly what I was looking for! We like to keep the garage door open, but flies always enter. Took all of 5 minutes to put up! Very Easy. I did use different screws than provided (used smaller heads) so that the screen can be easily removed leaving the screws intact - could also use small fishhook-type screw-in hooks - so you can remove the screen as needed, i.e. during very inclement weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great value It works perfectly and I've rigged it so I can leave it up and still get the car in and out of the garage without taking in down. It does its job of letting me work without bugs. It looks good even with the door down. It was quick to install.

Can we trim the width if it is too wide for our opening?

I want to use this for a screen house that is 10 ft by 10 ft. to replace one side which does not have an opening. (it has two openings on the walls opposite one another and we need them on adjacent walls). The "magic doors" on the market are not wide enough so I am looking at those designed for garage doors and this one seems great, but too wide. So I am wondering if I can cut appx. 3 ft. off each side to be the width I need?
Asked by: tinybudgetbigdreams
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend altering the Garage Screen Kits as additional tailoring would be required and the weights on the bottom would need to be modified.
