Faux Ivy Privacy Screen-58"H x 9'9"W is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 182.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great for my particular needs. Needed some kind of privacy in our backyard, despite installing a 6 foot privacy fence all the neighbors windows look right into each other's windows and yards. So we added 8 foot trellises to each fence panel and strapped emt conduit to each slat. Than rolled the ivy over and zip tied it to the conduit so we actually get double the ivy screen. Looks cool on our side as well as the other. So like I said it works great for our application. We are over all pleased However don't know how it'll hold up after a northeastern winter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great picture, poor product First the webbing was cut unevenly, leaves kept falling off right out of the box, which made me think. How could this even stand up to the weather?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Metal Ground Stake Very sturdy and reliable. Very practical. Secured my privacy fence very well in the ground. I am confident it won't fall down in a storm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice privacy screen Purchased this item to hide the neighbors storage area. Looks good from a distance, but noticed that some of the leaves are coming off. Time will tell how well it holds up to the elements. So far I am pleased with this product and would recommend this screen for a fast and easy solution to privacy issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality I installed the first one about six years ago to cover the unsightly air conditioner condenser sitting right in the front of my home. It is the perfect size and really did the job of a nice, attractive screen. The California Santana Winds and weather finely took its toll. It has held up very well as it gets watered every day. It kept its nice green color but it finally started loosing its leaves and needed to be replaced. I am so pleased with the way the first one held up and how it looked that I was very happy to see it is still available as I did order another to replace the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great I have a chain link fence that divides my property from the school parking lot next door. I wanted some privacy for my driveway and to block my view of the lot. This was just what I needed. It looks like real ivy and covers the ugly chain link nicely. I've had it on the fence for 5 years and recently ordered 3 more panels to cover even further. The leaves do fade after a few years, but still look natural. I would recommend this as an attractive cover for chain link fencing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faux Ivy Trellis is Outstanding! We live in a townhome with a backyard deck/patio. The neighbor on our right is very erratic so we bought these to block out any communication or visual abilities on her part. We absolutely love them! They are so easy to hang, I just used zip ties and you can compress them for thicker coverage or expand them for some peek-a-boo views. Love, love, love them! Now, peace and sincerity and a relaxing summer awaits us. I am thinking about purchasing several more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faux ivy Excellent product. Looks like real ivy and great for covering unattractive surfaces or softening hard walls. Great for apartment terraces. Also great to introduce a living surface where absence of sunlight would otherwise prohibit.

How do you attach this item to a wooden fence

Asked by: chris 1
Hello, this item is normally attached with thin ties. If your fence is thick, we would recommend longer thin wire ties or possibly and adhesive could help too. Thanks again and we hope you have a great week!

winter

How does this hold up in the winter? I live and WNY and we have 5 months of winter. Will it with stand those kind of conditions? Also, what are the stakes used for exactly that they recommed you to purchase? Lastly, can this be installed with just one person? Thank you!!!
Asked by: peb922
It is weather resistant but I would still keep an eye on it during the winters. Just to make sure the heavy snow doesn’t weigh it down. One person can but would be easier with 2. The stakes are to help secure t to the ground.

Weather/Fence

I live in the northeast so obviously with winter comes cold and snow. Does the product stand up to this? I also need it to extend the height of a now existing 6' vinyl privacy fence. Can this be done? Thank you!
Asked by: CascioNY
Hello, please keep in mind these Ivy Leaves are weather resistant but not weather proof. They can be subject to wear and tear if subject to harsh weather for a long time. Thank you!

Confirm whether it can be cut, please

The description states that this can be cut to fit the size needed, but the STAFF response to the question about cutting says it should not be cut. Which is correct?
Asked by: ImprovingTX
Hello, cutting the item would void the 1 year warranty by altering the item. With this in mind, technically, it can be cut but then would not be able to be returned. I hope this helps. Thanks and have a great week!

Deluxe Faux Ivy Screen vs. this one?

A number of reviewers specifically reference the Deluxe ivy screen and comment that the Deluxe looks far better than the 'regular' faux ivy screen. Is this item the 'regular' version or is it the one everyone is specifically calling the Deluxe version? If is not the deluxe, what is the sku# for that one? It is tough to get a clear picture of customers' reviews when reviews for multiple items are listed together under what may be a different item or one that changes over time while the item number stays the same.
Asked by: ImprovingTX
I am very pleased with the "regular" screen. I used it to cover my condenser. The appearance is very nice, the leaves are a good color and are not skimpy or thin. I did choose this one because I wanted the air flow to not be totally cut off. If you are looking for a very dense material for total privacy then this one might not be OK for you. I can not speak for the "deluxe" screen..

Sufficient to shade brick wall & window in direct sun?

My 2nd story master gets full direct sun from just after noon until 6pm. The temperature in the room rises almost immediately despite insulated knockout drapes. Since summer nights stay above 80 by early June, the bricks stay hot all night and continue to heat the room. If I attach these to the brick will it be enough to shade the wall or would I also need shade fabric behind it? HOA won't allow a free standing structure or trellis that can be seen from the street. This seems like it would appear to be ivy growing on the wall and since it would be flush to the wall will be blocked from view by the fireplace that extends out from the wall on the street side of the window. It only needs to be up from late May thru early October.
Asked by: ImprovingTX
The ivy will fade being hit my direct sun over time. My ivy has been up for 2 years now. I'm not sure it has real insulating properties. I would check with someone knowledgeable in the field. I'm thinking an insulating material would be best first, and then the ivy over it.
