Expanding Tray Table is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my two tables Have these near my two recliners. Thinking of buying a third for between them, since we use them for so many things. Easy to slide around the room, light to pick up. When they open up you get the extra room you need at the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BETTER THAN TV TRAY STANDS I bought one for my spouse and it works so much better than any TV tray stand. No worry about it collapsing when he moves it with his tray full of food on it. Love it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional, inexpensive, quick assembly! This is the second generation of a table I bought from another store 3 years ago. Happy to see that they've made improvements in the fit, finish, and design. Yes, it's made in China, but once assembled it will easily last for years with minimal maintenance. These tables are designed for the convenience of the family room or basement. They're great holding your remotes, your popcorn or an occasional glass of wine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from versatile, affordable, back savers! I love these tray tables. My husband and I sometimes eat while watching TV and ordinary TV trays require repeated leaning too far forward which is hard on my back. With these trays I can pull them up to me like sliding my legs under a table to sit close to it so they solved one of my back problems. When not eating, I've used 4 of them lined up as a console table behind a sofa, 2 arranged back to back or front to front, or independently as side tables. They are so versatile. The first pair I bought had only a single set of "legs" and one of the trays bent easily from leaning elbows on the front (unsupported) end, but the next pair of tables had the second set of legs making them much better for weight bearing. Advantage of the single leg design is the tray base can slide completely under a seat when not in use creating easy passage, where the extra set of legs keeps the table sticking out several inches. I just sold the original four trays before moving cross country because they are so affordable, it was less expensive to buy new ones than ship the older ones! Each of the 3 times I've purchased these, they have changed colors of wood and hinges, but mixing and matching worked for me. My previous ones lasted well and were still going strong when sold. I'm a 66 y/o woman and put them together easily while my husband napped in the same room. Nothing to it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrific quality Within 10 hours after assembling table, a large piece of the "wood" chipped off. Already assembled and boxes tossed. I'm stuck and a sucker. Buyer beware :-(

I L.O.V.E these tables and *this* close to purchasing. Several comments say construction "doesn't" line up, tho. So, before purchasing, have these assembly problem been resolves?

Asked by: Donnas
Thank you for your inquiry. After checking our records I am not seeing that there are recent reviews or product issues with the tables not lining up. We have also not heard of the table disintegrating before, so this would not be an issue that is common or something that should even occur. If you were to experience any issues with this table we could process an exchange or a return for refund as long as this is within the warranty period.

Does the height of the table allow it to go over the arm of a typical arm chair or sofa?

Asked by: Joyci
We can't not guarantee only because the dimensions vary from sofa to sofa. I can say if the arm height of your sofa is under 24" inches it will fit over the arm.

Can this be used with a recliner? DH tired of the plastic tables and need something more sturdy. He wanted an adjustable table but nothing like the hospital type table.

Asked by: On line shopper
Hello, this item can be used with a recliner as long as the dimensions of the recliner can accommodate. Thank you!

How thick is the base?

Please tell me how thick the base is that slides under the couch. We have very limited clearance under our couch. Thanks.
Asked by: Spitfire70
It is 1 1/8 inches from floor to the top of the base. It has little rubber feet on it so that lifts it off the floor. But I took that into consideration when measuring,

Also, does the table tilt?
