Drymate 17' Garage Floor Mat is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love it. Keeps the floor clean looking and hides stains.
Date published: 2018-02-12
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mixed emotions The price is right, it's easy to roll out and it does a fine job of covering the crack in the garage floor. However, the felt-like surface holds dust, dirt and leaves, and unlike the concrete floor, can't be swept clean. I've used a vacuum instead. In retrospect, I think a rubber/plastic mat would have worked better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protects Floor/Cozy Garage I purchased one of these for my husband's old rusty truck as we just moved into a new house. Because it is so thin it is easy to work with but on a windy winter day it easily flaps over and/or moves a bit. It worked in catching (most) of the rust due to this. I guess if we were truly "handy" people we could have used something to help adhere it to the cement on that side. Otherwise, I love the "coziness" it brings to the cold cement garage floors. Easy to clean in the spring with a shop vac.Thank goodness we now have a new clean truck in the garage. I will reorder for the other 2 stalls in preparation for this coming winter!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from measurements Check the dimensions before you buy! I nearly bought this item, and I'm glad I measure first. If you have a two car garage, and are planning to put these side by side, the width is not enough to cover two spaces. The edge of one car will be off of the cover, which would defeat the purpose of catching snow/rainwater that is dripping off of the car.

Hello, mildew and mold are very difficult if not impossible to get out. We recommend keeping the mat clean if it is going to be in a damp and dark area. Thanks!

Why should you NEVER put this mat over a painted floor?

Asked by: Mulates
The backing can react to a painted floor. Our mats are the most compatible with cement floors or permanent flooring. We advise consumers to check with the mfg of whatever flooring or coating they put down to see if it reacts to PVC.

How much water will it hold, and does snow and ice create an issue?

we have a two car concrete floor garage with no floor drain
Asked by: TomS
Thank you for your question. The Drymate Garage Floor Mats can absorb up to 5 times their weight in liquids. We advise homeowners to squeegee off excess water or snow on the mats to help the mats dry quicker. Also kick off or remove excess snow that collects behinds in the wheel well area. The mats dry fairly quickly but excess water can puddle up.

Okay for wood floor?

We just had a prebuilt garage delivered and set up. They advised putting down an epoxy coating before parking a vehicle on it. Would this mat be okay to use instead?
Asked by: Darlin
Thank you for your question. Yes it is OK to use the Drymate mats on a wood floor.
