Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by stays put I have been so frustrated for years with the builders idea of a dryer vent area outside. it just didn't want to stay on and half of the time it would just be laying on the ground and then I would have this hole coming into my house. when I saw this idea for the dryer vent I was excited to say the least. I purchased it and my husband installed it and it's great. no more falling off or holes. easy to install and solved this issue for me. November 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Dryer Vent I purchased this vent to be sure the "critters" stayed out of my dryer vent line. When not in use the top seals off the otherwise open vent line. I'd recommend this for everyone. March 7, 2014

My dryer vent is very near my AC condenser and the excess lint that makes in through the vent line is blowing outside on to the condenser. i am looking for something to collect the lint outside my house at the wall.

I live in Canada where the temperature drops below freezing for most of the calendar year. I'm concerned the moist warm air venting from the dryer will freeze the shuttle in either the closed, or open position. Does the dryver vent work in these conditions? Is there any concern that the vent will freeze and stop working?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Dryer Vent Seal needs to be flush to work properly. Vinyl siding comes in various widths. The planks need to be at last 6" wide to accommodate the Dryer Vent Seal.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. There is a floating seal inside of the damper. It is not a ball; it is more like a cup that fits over the opening inside when not in use.
