Curtain Tension Rod 30-52" is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compression Rods These are the 2nd ones I've bought. The first one was destroyed by Hurricane Irma. These really hold up on the pool deck patio area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spring load curtain rods I needed a very specific type rod to fit a space for an outdoor curtain and this was exactly what I needed. I am very pleased with the look and how the curtains which I also bought from you , look and hangI am very satisfied with the whole package

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice enough but... Since this is an item described for outdoor use, I expected a rod that was a bit sturdier. There are screwholes on either end and an included hook for the middle (which was needed to avoid "droop") but had hoped for a heftier rod that would support curtains without using screws and a hook. The extended length was the main reason I purchased this rod otherwise I would have been fine with an inexpensive shower curtain rod. My recommendation is "yes" only for the length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tension rod Tension rods were needed for my new replacement windows in my. back entry way. These fit the bill and are my second purchase of this brand of tension rod. These are more heavy duty than those you can get at discount stores. They are long lasting and well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job Basement bedroom has no door. The door way is slanted not possible to put a door . The rod had to fit across 84" so I could hang a set of curtains across . Really didn't need the holder in the ceiling, but decided to anyway being that the teenager would be pulling the grommet curtains back and forth, opening and closing. It WORKED! He has his privacy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. I purchased 2 of the 30-52" bronze tension curtain rods to suspend some Sunbrella curtains under our deck, to cool the area where our 3 dogs like to be. My husband and myself didn't want to put holes in our Geodeck wrapped support poles for our deck, and this tension rod was just what I was looking for! We did help support the distance between the deck supports with a couple large hooks that were screwed into the wood 2x8 rafters that support the upper deck which was wood, this helps keep the tension rod from ever falling even with the weight of the curtains and the winds etc. These worked perfect, love the bronze color and the available size to fit the distance I needed, excellent purchase!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I needed a longer tension rod than the ones I could find in the store This product looked good and was easy to put up. It included an extra hook for stability and a hidden screw for support both were exactly what I needed.

Hello.  Are the ends of this rod designed to grip the surface.  If so, what are they made of? Thank you.

Asked by: Grandparabbit
Yes, there are rubber pads to help with slipping.

What size is the extender screw and or the rod circumference

Asked by: SPLP
The diameter of the rod is 3/4" and there is no extender screw. This rod set does come with two screws to use to mount the In-Tension Rod to the wall, for additional security if they choose, and these are 1.5" long but they hide inside the rod and therefore couldn't qualify as an extender.

I live in Florida & want to hang some outdoor cutains up to block sun. I have tried tension rods from Walmart & they just slipped down my aluminum lanai enclosure when I put the drapes on them. Will these stay put without me having to use screws?

Asked by: Mare 4
This item should attach fine without screws, however, they can be attached if wanted. Thanks!

Did I purchase the right products?

My space is 114" wide; I purchased 2, 52"x90" curtain rods, 4 108" L curtains and 1, rod connector. Will this work?
Asked by: DonnaFran
Hello, with the connector you should not have any issues with the curtain rods. With the sizes you purchased, you should not have to extend the rods but only a few inches to fit tightly. Thank you!

Does this rod sag?

Having read on other sites, that tension rods similar to this one, sagged in the middle, I was wondering if anyone had experienced this? I intend to use them beneath our four poster bed, to hang bed skirts. Thank you.
Asked by: SM51
I used this for outdoor curtains, fairly weighty, and I had to use the included hook to avoid "sag".

Will a grommet panel fit over the ends?

I have a grommet panel with openings of 1 1/2" ~ will these fit over the ends of the pole?
Asked by: LTudor
One of the ends of the rod unscrews so you can easily thread the grommets onto the rod.
