Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Lighting With My White Garage Doors, Gable, & Shutters I do not even use the remote since I prefer it to not blink and have it plugged into the 6 outlet power center from Improvements with shut off 6 hours from dusk. IMO the light show effect is greatly enhanced when on white just as with movie screens. The reviewer who said that the 30 foot width of lighting and height to reach 2nd story( or top of my gable) is right on the mark (when it is distanced for optimum vivid effect) A nice plus to this is that I ordered it on the 25% off limited time sale ~ mid December. I also got the Yard Light Snowman with Top Hat and smaller one for porch light with top hat as well from Improvements. I will look forward to next year December sale to get more stuff. Attached Lighted Candy Cane Photo is from prior year purchase from Improvements.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dim Projector This laser projector is very well made. The problem is that it doesn't do much. The projected light can only be seen from about 30 ft. I have moved it in/out/up/down without good results. Very expensive for limited results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defective right out of the box! Ordered the out side x-mas lights (#483951 North Star Landscape Lights) and right out of the box they did not work. So far its my problem to deal with!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as advertised I bought one last year and it worked great so I thought I would invest in 2 more and that was a big mistake. The quality and strength of the laser is very weak and it doesn't illuminate the entire house as it should with the 3 lights. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far exceeded my expectations I wanted a projector that would make lighting the house at Christmas time a quick and easy proposition. I'd seen similar projectors and the lights were a bit weak and unimpressive so I was hesitant to order this particular device. However, based on my previous very positive experiences with products, I decided to take the chance. These lights are bright and vivid and absolutely like a winter wonderland of lights. It couldn't have been quicker or easier and the results are exceptional!! READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST (they do, in big bold letters, caution you to READ). If you do, it's easy peasy. My house is now the best and most colorful and beautifully decorated home in the neighborhood, w/o being over the top Clark Griswold from National Lampoon tacky. I'm entranced. So much so that I'm surprising both my adult kids with one of these. FANTASTIC.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It is a gamble Ordered 2, 1 worked. Sent the defective one back and waited for replacement. Replacement came and doesn't work either. Giving it one more chance and if this 3rd try doesn't work they are going back for refund. Good luck!!

How safe is the laser for people eyes

The label on the box says there is radiation danger to the eyes .Normally you need to cover your eyes because of laser. No way to talk to any one from customer service from the product .Please explain how safe it is to look at the projector.
Asked by: Urszula
Thank you for your question. The Color Laser Light Projector should be treated the same as any other light. You should be ok to look at it but please do not stare into the light.

Thank you for your question. The Color Laser Light Projector can be used with other lawn decorations but the red and green light pattern will show up on them if they are placed in the path of the light.

Why do the green dots appear much brighter and and why do they far outnumber the red ones? Is there a problem or is that the way it is?

Already installed and functions ok except that the red dots are very subdued and lack numbers.

Will the dots show up on a window or pass through it?

This concerns the Color Laser Light Projector: I live in a condo, with more windows than solid walls. I imagine if rooms are lit there would be no effect at all. If my rooms are dark would the dots show up on my windows or pass through to the opposite wall. Also, I saw one FAQ that suggested 24 feet would be the optimal range. What would the affect be at 6 feet? I would probably be fastening two to my railings and probably angling them to get full coverage.
Asked by: Steve2080
both. it'll show on the window but can be seen from within
