Collapsible Rain Barrel-50 Gallon is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 91.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Though I have not yet put the durability of this product to the test, I already like what I see. Great idea, fantastic product, also very affordable. I like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I have five of these barrels, all connected to each other. I use the water for my plants as well as filling our swimming pool. I have found they are sturdy. I do have one which had fallen and the zipper ripped. I sewed it back the best I could and its fine. I will be recycling one this spring as it has sprung a leak in the bottom. This barrel lasted for five years so I feel I got my monies worth. I tried to repair the leak but wasn't that successful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait for rain I have purchase a good number of these rain barrels because we are in a drought in New Mexico, I can't wait to start saving rain or future use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from water saver I have bought 6 of these barrels and I am happy with them.We are in the 5th year of drought and these store a lot of water instead of numerous smaller plastic trash cans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Collapsible Rain Barrel - 74 Gallon I bought my first 2 barrels at another company. They came with aluminum legs which hold up very well. The barrels that I got from Improvements have plastic legs which warp in the hot Arizona climate. I solved that problem by replacing the legs as they warp with 36 inch hard plastic sprinkler pipes and screw on a 1/2 inch cap for a leg. This works very well. I love these barrels because they hold a lot and they don't take up much storage space. I now own 6 of these barrels. I also have 2- 50 gallon barrels from another company and those legs all had to be replaced and they also have a tendency to tip over when full. The 74 gallon are the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great We use this by emptying our dehumidifier water into barrel and thus have enough for our garden. It gives us a savings on our water bill.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly as described This is the least expensive rain barrel I've found. It was easy to put together. Unfortunately, there's a very slight leak at the spigot on the bottom. If I took it apart, and screwed it on again, it might stop leaking, but instead, I'm going to buy some sealant spray, and use that to plug up the leak. I just got it. I don't have any idea how durable it will be.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use barrel This was easy for me to put together, looks fairly sturdy. After the first rain, tho, the spigot started to leak.I will have to put a sealer on it. Otherwise the spigot works great.Have not tried to add a hose on it yet.

Replacement Spigot?

Need to find a replacement spigot for one of these collapsible rain barrels. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one?
Asked by: stpso440
I would call Improvements Customer Service to see if they can send you a replacement. I received a rain barrel about 1 month ago and it was missing 3 or the support legs and they sent me 3 after I called.

Spigot too low

to remove and use the stored water, the spigot is too low. What do you do?
Asked by: lailalee
It is recommended that this be raised off of the ground. You can also attach a garden hose to the spigot to direct the water away. I hoe this information helps.

I still need a spigot

I received this last summer (2012) and it didn't have a spigot or a cap to screw into the hole in the top. Any suggestions about how I could get them?
