Bird Chaser Electronic Bird Repellent is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Results Screws broke as I installed it so I had to use my own. Seems to be working on the robins but not the doves in the ultrasonic mode. The predator screeching was so loud and often I had to switch to ultrasonic so my neighbors didn't get mad at me. Doves are easier to chase then robins who are more persistent so I'm happy it is keeping them out of the open garage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bird Chaser Doesn't chase the sparrows away, they walk and fly right by it. Waste of money, don't buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far so good we purchased 5 of these to place around our building to scare away pigeons who were making a mess of our building. so far so good. these are working well. you have two options: ultrasonic (which didn't work so well for our application) and the other is a recording of predatory birds (this worked best for our application). The adjustable volume settings were great and the motion sensor worked extremely well. drawback is the color of the box and the fact that we couldn't mount it easily to the concrete. we had to wedge it in as best we could. batteries have to be checked every so often as well. wish there was something that could be hardwired. would highly recommend to others. As a matter of fact i'm purchasing two more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bird Chaser Electronic Repellent So far, so good. Using it to try and keep nesting sparows out of a mostly closed shed that they stll find a way to get in to. May be too early to tell for sure, but I've noticed less birds since installing this. I've tested the motion senser with small objects thrown in the air, and it seems to have adequate sensitivity.

I would like to repel birds but at the same time I do not want to scare or hurt my dog.

Will the predatory setting scare my dog? Can the ultrasonic sound be set to just scare birds away or will it also harm my dogs ears?
Asked by: DogEnthusiast
Thank you for your question. Yes, the dog will be able to detect the ultrasonic sound the unit emits, however it will not hurt the animal.
