AirFlow Breeze Ultra Register Booster Fan is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth buying I installed this as a ceiling unit in the back bedroom of my 1500 sq ft house. Works very well and solved the problem of the room always being too cold in Winter. Wish I had found these years ago- going to buy another one for my own bedroom. Won't need to juggle an additional plug in heater ever again. And the room is much warmer now. The price isn't cheap on our limited budget but this item is worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very effective and easy to use! I have a room that doesn't get cooled or heated well. I attached one of these to to the register vent, and it helps significantly. I haven't had it for the cold months yet, but so far, so good. I am very pleased that it comes with a remote, so I don't have to crawl on my hands and knees to turn it on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solved the problem The vent was the end of a long ac line and didn't have great flow. Was looking at getting another line installed but would cost a lot. Tried this and it works great. Solved the problem and a lot less money. Would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this Register Booster Fan One of the bedrooms in my house just doesn't get the same airflow through the vents as the others. At night if the door is shut, it becomes 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. This Register Booster Fan took less than 15 minutes to install. With the fan on high and the door to the bedroom closed, the room stays the same temperature as the rest of the house. You can definitely hear the fan, but it's not super loud, even on high. Very pleased with my purchase! Only improvement that could be made is for the cord to be considerably longer to reach an outlet without an extension cord.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In use for 3-years Installed this register booster 3-years ago. It has helped reduce an upstairs bedroom cooling problem. About a year after installing it the blue cooling mode LED indicator failed and nolonger lights although the mode still works. After three years I still haven't figured out if I've properly set either the cooling or heating modes' automatic temperature control point. That's OK as I just use the manual Fan mode. Depending where it's installed, e.g. a bedroom, one might find the High speed fan setting to be noticable. At betime for sleeping I set the fan speed to LOW. Summary: a reasonably good product that can help bring either more heat or cooling into a room. It may or may not solve your entire problem, but it should help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ok As others have said, this unit is a bit noisy and did not fit in most of my register spaces. The one I really wanted it for fit but it was a miracle. I don't use the room all that much but I think the unit does make difference. My biggest issue is the noise. It was easy to program.

Will the AirFlow Breeze fit a register of 8" x 10"? I was wonder if the fan would fit over the air duct and I could make new holes for the screws.

Would this be good for heat as well?

I see comments for use of this for cooling a room, what about heating as well? We live in Pittsburgh so need something that helps either way.
Asked by: bluej
I would think it would work just as efficiently for heat as well.

I currently have a regular air flow breeze unit. Does the Ultra system have different dimensions for the part that sits within the vent itself?

The regular Airflow breeze unit fits into my register which only measures approx. 4 X 12. It has about 2 inches of overlap, just wondered if the 6 X 12 on the Ultra unit includes the same type of overlap, or if that is an inside dimension? Thanks
Asked by: Kammy
Thank you for your question. Measurements and other helpful information can be found by clicking the 'Overview’ tab on the page above. The AirFlow Breeze Ultra Register Booster Fan is for register openings measuring 6" x 10" or 6" x 12".
