Ashford 3-Step Folding Stool is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 154.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a nice ladder!!! Re-did our master closet with a custom system. The upper shelves are too high for me to reach. Didn't want to have to get our step-ladder every time I wanted to get to the top shelves. So wanted to find one that I could leave in the closet all the time. It had to look like the quality of the new system, not just an ordinary utilitarian step-ladder. Found a different wood ladder on-line but it was just so-so and had big chrome screws showing which I didn't like. Then I found this one!! Looked perfect. And it is! Seems to be very well made and looks so nice. Bought two oil-rubbed-bronze 'robe' hangers at Lowe's so could hang the ladder in the closet. All works perfectly and was a great finishing touch to our beautiful new closet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution We needed a step stool for our master bedroom closet's high shelves. We didn't want a metal one because our bedroom has mahogany and cherry furniture. The price seemed a bit high, but I had a discount code so I went for it. It's worth the price! It's a very sturdy piece, it's larger than I thought it would be, and it looks great. My brother bought a different step stool for his library a couple years ago, and he paid much more for it. Yet this one looks every bit as nice. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Piece of Furniture Functional, but also a beautiful piece of furniture. You can hide it if you want, but I think you will want to show it -- as well as use it. Quality throughout.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great WHITE Folding Stool We have been looking for a WHITE folding step stool for sometime to go in our mater bedroom closet that would match our shelving color and reach the top shelves. Finally, found this one and it is great! Wide steps, sturdy and easy to open and close it meets all our needs and has style too!

Is the height to the top of the handle 48" or is that the height to the top step?

Is the height to the top of the handle 48" or is that the height to the top step? Re: Ashford 3-step folding stool
Asked by: Louie70
48" is to very top of center arch, when the ladder is folded flat. The top step is 27" from the floor when the ladder is fully opened to use.
