Yellow Jacket & Wasp Traps (2) 2.7 5 3 3
It barely works I have 4 of them set up in my backyard, and we have tons of Yellow Jackets feasting everywhere. I might have caught 2 Yellow Jackets. I have used soapy water, a sugar feed, i.e. citrus, etc. They don't even come near it. They look okay, but I finally just had to remove some ivy that was attracting the yj's, and will probably throw these away if they don't fill up more. Very disappointed. July 12, 2013
Worked like a charm I gave these to my mother 2 years ago who had a wasp problem on her porch every season. Has used them the last 2 years, ZERO wasps. July 14, 2012
Cheaply made, might buy glass ones instead I ordered these wasp traps along with a few other items. The package arrived very badly damaged and the plastic wasp traps were shoved in the bottom of the box with no additional padding. They arrived unassembled and the instructions said to screw the bottoms on. That step took me about 15 minutes since the traps were a little misshapen by the lack of packaging and the threads are very short so it is quite difficult to align them. I also have very little confidence the bottom will stay on. It has been raining since I put the traps out so I can't say yet if the traps will work. I used glass traps from Improvements at my previous house. Those did not require assembly, look great, and worked great. If I had to do it over, i would probably buy the glass traps again.
