Wood-Top Kitchen Cart 4 5 1 1
Practical Kitchen Cart I mainly purchased this for its functionality. We needed something like this in my home versus a more higher-end and aesthetically pleasing kitchen island because this seemed much more practical. The shelves allow for easy storage of pots and pans, and the Rubberwood top appears to be durable. I was surprised to learn that it is actual wood versus filler. In a kitchen like ours, you need furniture like this as it can be accessible for everyday cooking needs, though it lacks a sophisticated look. The unit was somewhat easy to assemble. There are a lot of pieces but thankfully, the instructions are easy to follow and this can be put together in an hour or so with some helping hands. I'm glad this was affordable, and it is functional. January 21, 2014

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The wire shelves are 12" apart and hold 50 lbs. each. We do not recommend assembling the product without all of its components; to do so may impact the stability of the cart.
