Wood Pet Stairs - Large 2 5 2 2
Best looking pet stairs we have Good quality, good looking, sturdy, and tall enough for our Shih Tzu to climb up onto our tall bed. The fabric on the stairs does fuzz and require regular trimming, but overall, much better than any of the other pet stair options available. April 2, 2014
Fair Warning if you have a Senior Dog The carpeting on these steps has zero nap and is very slick. I bought these for my senior Terrier to replace a shorter, steeper (but heavily napped) stair that he has used for several years (since being injured). They arrived today, already assembled and I put them up to my bed. On the first attempt he slipped on the second step and slid to the floor. On the second attempt he got to the third step, slipped and fell off the side. I then put the old stairs next to the new ones and guess which he uses????? I don't know what I am going to do with them- I guess I will have to put good carpet over top but I doubt he will try them again. March 18, 2013

what kind of anti-skid protection

What is on the steps to keep my dog from slipping? Is there anything on the bottoms of the steps that keeps them from sliding on the wood flooring when my Airedale steps down on them from the bed?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Wood Pet Stairs are carpeted for better traction. There are no anti-slip feet for wood or other slick surfaces.
