Answer:
Sure, they'd be great to walk on in bare feet, as they are smooth and pliable, with no splinters. They're also sort of bouncy, which is good for my cobalt knees!

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
These are generally used in a garden or landscaped area over grass or pebbled or dirt paths. Improvements recommends that a garden clog or footwear be worn when walking on the pathways.

These pathways do not curve. They are bendable but cannot be formed to a curved line only a straight line.

I'm confused by the 43" width listed for the curved pathway (item # 488537). Is that not the length, and 18" the width (like the straight pathway #423503))? I'd like to link several straight links, with a curved pathway in the center, if they match in width. Thank you.

Answers

Answer:
No. The curved pathway is 18" wide when it is straight and when it is curved. The length is determined by how many pieces you put together to make your pathway. The straight pieces fit together so that there is no space in between, but the curved pieces may have to have spaces between them to make the curve go where you want it. I filled in the spaces with the bark nuggets. However, this caused me to end up short of mats at the end even though I had measured carefully. I had to buy 3 additional mats.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
We apologize for incorrectly stating the measurements and will correct them. The measurements are reversed so the width is 18" and the length is 43". Thank you for bringing it to our attention here at Improvements Catalog.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
The dimension is for each. In the copy it states the length for "each" section as being 31-3/4". SEE COPY below...
"Each section (you get 2) is 18"W x 31-3/4"L; use them separately or interlock the rubber walkway mats to create a longer path. The Wood-Look Rubber Outdoor Pathway is durable and easy to clean: simply spray it with your hose."
