Twin Draft Guard&#174 Door Draft Stopper

your threshold--if it is 1/2 in or higher this product will not work

Needs Velcro
I had to buy Velcro with adhesive backing to make it work. The door wouldn't close without physically moving the product out of the way. It was necessary to lift the outside open end (by attaching it to the door with Velcro) due to the lifted door frame on the floor. If the floor didn't have a lifted edge on the floor it would have worked as intended.

Easy to assemble and use
I have been looking for an easy way to reduce the draft/space under our apartment entry door. We have used a different product previously, but believe that this product will perform better and adequately keep out draft and light from under the entrance door. The twin draft guard purchased is "regular" and I had to stretch out the foam pieces to the maximum extend and then tape together to get the length needed. I would have preferred a bigger (circumference) and longer foam pieces. Overall, this product will perform at the minimum level expected and intended.

Simple Genius!!
This product is and does what it claims. We had a gap under the door coming up from the garage. I wanted something to block the flow of dust and cool air coming under the door with the opening and closing of the garage door. This is the perfect fix. It's lightweight and is almost invisible next to the dark floors. It stays in place as the door opens and closes. Assembly amounts to sliding the two dowels into the sleeves of the cotton case which has a velcro closure that keeps them secured inside, Simple and genius. Would definitely recommend this as a viable solution to a draft dilemma!!!

I want to use the twin draft guard on my outside door but I also have a screen door that closes on the ouside. Will the draft guard be too large so that the screen door will not close? How many inches in widith is the stopper on the outside? Thank you

Thank you for your question. The Twin Draft Guard Door Draft Stopper is not recommended for use with a screen door as the fabric may catch on the track.7 months ago
