Harrison Weave Washable Stair Treads-9"x29"-Set of 4 4.7 5 200 200
I was sick of cleaning/repainting stairs Feels great under the feet. Even the Husband noticed and said, "Nice". Looks just like catalog and delivered as said. October 11, 2011
Just what I was looking for Now my older golden retriever can negotiate the steps without slipping and our new puppy will go up without assistance. The color is a soft green and the backing keeps them where you put them. Very happy with the purchase, haven't had to wash them yet. I would recommend them highly. October 15, 2011
Great product They fit the stair treads perfectly and do not slip. the rubber backing holds them securely in place. The color is very pleasing. We have not washed them yet but don't anticipate any problems. October 15, 2011
Good value for the money. Perfectly covers the worn stair treads and doesn't move with the rubber backing. Very happy with the look. October 16, 2011

Answer:
No staining on the stairs. Ditto the comment that the backing is like a bathroom floor mat.

Answer:
Not at all. These remind me of bathroom rugs with the rubber backs. They seem to hold pretty well - - and have held up thru 2 washes already.

Answer:
They do wash and look fine (no shrinkage). But THEY DON"T STAY IN PLACE. You need to use double-stick carpet tape and then they stay in place fine.

Answer:
They didn't stay in place from the first day. Don't expect them to be non-slip. Wash and dry on low temp and they'll be fine.

Answer:
Wash in cold water and they will not shrink. Dry on low heat, the treads are rubber and they will deteriorate at high heat.

We have finished our basement and simply painted the stairs a very dark brown. Looking at sage or burgundy color, but wasn't sure if the sage is more of a bright "mint" color or a true sage that is a bit more muted with a hint of brownish tones. Is the burgundy more deep red or pinkish? Colors online don't typically do justice to the true color.
