Good but difficult to program
I like the this apparatus, however, programming it is quite difficult and the instructions seem to be written for something else, rather than this.

Product did not perform as expected
Although the product sent to me the first time did not work, I applaud the Improvements Catalog handling of a replacement. Since I use this for Christmas lighting, I have not had an opportunity to test the product over some longer term use. Again, many thanks to Improvements for making the initial adjustment.

weatherproof timer outdoor power strip
I was thrilled to find this strip for use outdoors with holiday decorations. Even though it was somewhat expensive, I felt it would be worth it to get such a powerful centralized. method of connectivity outside. However, I could not get it to program the on/off feature I was looking for. I had to do it manually.

so far, so good --- worked well for my outdoor Xmas lights
The price was a little high for a timer, but you do get 6 outlets. The instructions for programming the timer do not match up with the way the buttons read on the timer, but if you fiddle with it, you can figure it out. All in all, this was a good solution for my outdoor Xmas lights, so I would recommend it.

Great for outdoor Christmas lights
This devise can only be used for short periods of time, so it should not be used year-round for outdoor lights. I purchased this in order to have my outdoor Christmas lights come on automatically at dusk and shut off automatically at midnight. Serves the purpose and Works perfectly. There are several settings to select from. My weekend lights stay on later than my weekday lights & it's a pleasure to come home from work with the Christmas lights already on. The programming of the device was a bit time consuming for me at least & I consider myself relatively tech savvy.

how does it work?
The product came with the wrong instructions. Customer service quickly emailed the right instructions. However the product's six outlets are not labelled, nor do the instructions state which outlet is which, so programming took longer than it should have. So far it is working fine.

Terrific Timer
Directions hard to follow to setup the timer. Stated to push buttons that weren't on this item. Not sure how plastic covers will hold up over time. Would be nice to be able to remove the bottom spike as i hung this item from the side of my home.

Good product/excellent service
I purchased this product to "clean up" the use of multiple extension cords for outdoor Holiday lights. The quality is excellent. It is delivering power to the lights safely and efficiently--even during heavy autumn rains.
I also am very satisfied with the responsive service from Improvements. Good show! Keep up the good work!

Outdoor Timed Powerstrip
This item is fantastic! Especially for the Holidays with so many cords to plug in, plus with the timer you can set it and not have to worry about turning them all off. My husband loved it when I showed him what I bought him.

limited life
I did not see anything stating that the unit should not be used more than 90 days. Wanted to use the outdoor timer as a timer for a waterfall for approximately 4 to 5 hours each evening, April through October. Quess I'll get a timer hardwired.

outdoor timer power strip
We decorate our yard for Halloween and Christmas. I wanted something that would work for all the figurines especially at Christmas time. My husband was excited to see I had finally found a power strip that had it ALL.....weather proof, six plug ins, heavy duty and a timer.
