Water Guard Entry Mat-18" x 27" 5 5 6 6
Repeat Buyer I've purchased several of these mats and am totally happy with them. Heavy enough so that the wind does not blow them over. Looks high quality and does an excellent job of taking the dirt off of the bottom of my shoes. Easy to clean and dries readily. I have the square pattern in Evergreen and Bordeaux. Deep rich colors. July 10, 2012
Finally, a great door mat! They actually absorb moisture (as the catalog claims), look good, stay put, and are easy to vacuum. Hallelujah! March 25, 2014
Fantastic Carpet I ordered three 3x5 carpets for my kitchen, one for each entrance and one for in front of my sink. My husband, who is extremely picky, loves the look and feel of them. The mud from his boots, and the dog's paws (a 100 pound german shepherd dog) cleans right up. I ordered the gold, very rich looking. Ordering another one today! Highly recommend for both looks and durability. October 16, 2012
Excellent and Durable Mat I ordered one in Navy blue squares for the back door. I am so impressed by the quality and construction, I am immediately back here ordering two more before they disappear! You won't be sorry with this one. While it might seem a bit more than you may have wanted to pay, splurge on it as you will find it more than meets your expectations! January 17, 2013

Answer:
I used rug tape that I bought at Lowe's but it does not do a very good job. My treads still slip quite a bit during the course of a day. I will try another tape but I may have to resort to rug tacks.

Answer:
I used a produce called Shurtape Hold-it for rugs. I got it at Lowes, but you could probably get it at any home improvement store. It's sticky on one side (attach to the back of tread) and its non slip on the other side that keeps it from slipping on the stair. It's non adhesive so you don't have to worry about damage to the stairs.

Thank you for your question. These stair treads have rigid anchor points underneath that grip tight to hold them in place.

I am interested in purchasing the 3x5 Water Guard Entry Mat to place in front of my front door to protect my hardwood flooring from dirt, debris, etc from the outside; but, I have read several blogs that indicate that you should not use rubber backed mats on hardwood floors as they can cause discoloration. Furthermore, I noticed that the description for the Water Guard Crescent Mat says "Note: not recommended for use on hardwood or vinyl flooring", although ironically enough the picture of the mat is on a hardwood floor. A little confusing! I have mixed signals regarding the Entry Mats. My question is: Are the Water Guard Entry Mats safe to use on hardwood floors, i.e. not cause discoloration? Please advise. Thank you in advance for your answer!

Answer:
I have had one of these mats on my hardwood floor just inside my front door for about 8 years now and it has done fine. No damage to floor at all. I am getting ready to buy another one for my back door, also for hardwood floor.
