Rated 5 out of 5 by The screen is great and the magnets really do stay shut. This is a great item if you do not have a matching screen door to your french doors like us. I can't say that it looks all that great....but it does the job. August 9, 2013

Is it weighted on the bottom?
When there is a nice breeze, does it stay in place, or does a breeze cause it to gap so bugs can get in?

Answer:
Thank you for your question.

Unless there are people frequently going in and out, it does stay in place by the use of the attached magnets. The Velcro adhesives that are included along the door edges will also assist in keeping the screen in place. If there are gusts of wind certainly the force of the air pushing against the screen may cause it to sway or loosen slightly. The bottom of the screens are weighted with heavy bonded mesh.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
The specifications tab on the product web page provides the consumer with a size chart. The size chart indicates for a 31" width door, the 30" or 32" size would fit.

Answer:
Thank you for your questions.
The width should be measured inside the door frame and where you want to place the tension rod/screen at. The hook and loop fasteners are located on the screen at the bottom sides of the hem. They have white tabs on them which can be removed. Detach the removable fabric fastener that has the white tab on it and adhere to the door frame, then press the opposite fastener that is permanently attached to
the screen against it to keep if from shifting. If the fabric fasteners (hook and loop) are not on the screens please contact customer service you may have received a defective item. Thank you.

Answer:
I would think it would be the right size, definitely don't get a smaller size for sure because the magnets won't reach each other.

Answer:
Yes, you can easily shorten the screen by sewing, either by hand or machine. Hang it up first as I found mine to be 1" short out of the box.
