Rated 3 out of 5 by Too Small Great idea but to small. The cardinals refuse to feed from it. February 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Definitely not "Squirrel-Free" It took the squirrels about 10 minutes to find out they could climb down to the top of the feeder, reach between the two halves of the sphere, grab ahold, keeping them apart, then stick their heads in to get to the bird food. Not a better mousetrap! June 25, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Squirrel-free? Maybe. Chipmunk-free? NO. Chipmunks are small enough that they can get into the feeder. July 10, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Squirrel Proof Squirrels would jump at the feeder from side tree limbs and get into the opening. They broke it in the first day. March 22, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Squirrel Proof This feeder is not squirrel proof. Its look good.I will not recommend to friend. May 15, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Definitely not squirrel proof Bought three feeders, because I loved the concept of the feeders. Our squirrels eat more than the birds, so to find a feeder that is possibly squirrel proof was great, Well, within 10 minutes of filling and putting up the feeder, a squirrel was in it devouring all the seed. It's a great concept, but squirrels are just very determined animals. June 19, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by My squirrels thank you My squirrels think I got these so they can eat in the rain and have a nice cover. I realize squirrel free is not squirrel resistant and they realized it too. Smart critters they are!!! July 1, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Too small for cardinals I am very disappointed in this product. The photo shows a cardinal using this feeder. This is probably photo shopped. My cardinals come to get seeds every morning and evening and they would not go near this failure. September 15, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Squirrel won. Another loss in the squirrel war. We have been trying to find a feeder that the squirrels can't get into. This is one of many that the squirrels conquered. But it was a good try. July 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Squirrel Free My daughter laughed and said "squirrel-free" should definitely be removed from the description of this bird feeder when a squirrel actually got inside ours and couldn't figure out how to get out. It did give us a few moments of intense laughter as we watched him determine how to escape. And the local doves enjoyed the seeds he flung onto the ground, so it was not a total waste of money.
