Great concept, needs a redesign, I think...
They are definitely working for me getting those hard to reach spots in my carafes and beer glasses!
I was expecting these to be more water absorbent, but they seem to get the job done. If your glass opening is smaller than the actual sponge, don't risk trying to push it into the glass. I think it would definitely break them.
I was expecting the longer washer would be more flexible. It is very hard, I believe made out of metal and not able to bend around. I expected it to be made of a rubber.

Sommelier's Washing Kit
I needed only the carafe cleaner which works very well in cleaning our wine carafe. The other items are not needed but I'm certain I will find a use for them
