Solar Color-Changing Patio Lights 4.6 5 59 59
What a Great Gift! I received my Patio Lights as a gift a year ago and loved them! I am now giving them as gifts to others who want a set for their yard. My nephew has 3 sets which he has hung in his trees! The lights are very brightly colored at night and make beautiful multi-color changes! March 30, 2012
Love, love, love these lights We at first thought the lights weren't working only to find that my husband had not turned the switch to the on position. Once he did that, the lights came on and they are spectacular. We love sitting on our patio at night enjoying the changing colors of the lights. During the day, they look like glass crystal balls and at night they provide a magical ambiance to our garden. Our neighbors saw them and immediately asked where we got them so they can get some for themselves. I bought 4 more to give away as gifts. They are lovely! June 19, 2012
Great outdoor addition Bought these lights a couple of weeks ago, and liked them so much ordered another 2 sets. Anyone that sees them thinks they are great. Nice bright colours and well made. Would recommend them to add some fun to anyone's yard. Easy to put up and durable. June 27, 2012
Adorable I just got them so I can't say how durable they are but they look great and add a little fun to the decor. July 9, 2012

Answer:
Ever heard of clear tape.....you can put these any where you want. I hooked the power source stake thru the looped wire when i got down to the bottom of the post I put them on. I holds it just fine. You can also take the power source off the lights during the day and put it in direct sun light. At sunset plug it back in to the lights where ever you strung them......?

Answer:
It has to be staked to the ground. It comes with about 12 feet extension to work with. An improvement would be some way to attach it to the roof.

It comes with a ground stake. Everything is light weight. I mounted mine to the Gutters on my deck's roof. Hole saw, and the tube that connects to the ground stake, wire, caulk and duct tape.

Answer:
No building attachments, just the post. However it wouldn't be hard to get parts from your local man store to mount it on a wall.

Answer:
No you cannot hook strands together easily. I guess you could if you decided to do some minor rewiring but you would then go through the battery pack very quickly since you would be running more lights off the batteries and the lights would not run very long. There really is no reason to run strings together since all lights go through their colors individually anyway (no master control to keep all lights the same color at the same time). The only other reason I could think of would be to get the solor panel into the sun from where you hang your lights. If you really needed to you could add wire if you are able to do minor wire splicing. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to convert this to electrical?

Here is the setup. I live in a rainy state where it rains more often than it is sunny. I am building a covered deck that is about the size of my home and want to put this kind of light up but will the usual weather at my location make it difficult for the solar power to charge enough to use at night? If it doesn't get enough solar power is there a way to wire it into the electrical on the house so that it will still work?

If that is not possible, would it be possible to buy it with just electrical and no solar capability? Even if it means to special order it.

Answer:
Look at the power source...it unplugs and you can put it in the sunlight or out in a clear sky area. Even on an overcast day Lynnwood WA gets enough light to run these lights. Then my dear when the sun goes down you walk over to your lights (that are hung in the shaded area) and plug them back in. Now wasn't that easy? This works for all of you that aren't in CA or AZ or FL. Hang them where ever you want, put the power unit out in the sun during the day. How hard can it be to walk over to the lights as the sun goes down. I use to live in the NW they'll work.

No. The lights are hard wired leds, glued at entrance to the ball and are not replaceable. Regards life, my oldest set is 3 years old and working fine. Generally speaking, leds do not "burn out".

Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, we do offer replacement bulbs or was this item develop to do so. If there is a bulb out on the string of lights check the lead wire into the bulb, perhaps it is loose or defective on the string. If that does not work then contact the customer service to see about replacing the item.

Thank you for your question.
The string of globes if taunt on the deck rail would accomodate 13' of coverage as the specs in the specification tab indicate. There is a 11' lead wire to the solar panel which is extra footage.
