Soft Glow LED Motion Sensor Light is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! These lights are fabulous. There are 2 at the landing of my basement steps and I've got 2 more at the top of my steps leading to the bedrooms. Will be purchasing 2 more for closets. They are gorgeous and functional!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUTSTANDING PRODUCT !!!! This is an excellent solution to my dark hallways. Not only that, they are attractive and I love the fact that they are motion sensitive. Everyone in my home is safer and protected by having this "on-demand" light source. This is a super solution to lighting problems in areas where electrical outlets are not an option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more searching for steps in the middle of the night I bought this type of lighting, a different brand, much less expensive, and they worked for about a week. So I decided to get the more expensive lighting, and they work great. Getting a little older, and making trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night, we needed lighting for a couple of stair steps. These work great. One of the lights kind of flickered the first couple of nights. I readjusted the batteries, and it is just fine now. They are motion sensored, yet during the day, the do not come on - only when the room is getting dark. You can either use screws to affix them to the wall or tape (both of which is included). I used the tape, and they are very secure. The only reason I gave this product a "good" rating for performance/durability is because I have only been using them for a couple of weeks. I would definitely recommend these lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. This is a product that I stumbled across in the catalog and then realized it was a solution to a problem I've been having - we cannot see our stairs in the dark. And it was increasingly noticeable when my in-laws visited and didn't have smartphones like we did to aid in seeing up the stairs at night. These little lights were just perfect! I added only 2 to our long hallway - one at the top and one at the bottom. Works perfectly!!!

Are these lights plastic or metal?

Asked by: SusanKay
The portion that covers the light looks like metal;and it is heavy duty, but I am guessing that it is plastic. The back of the light that you don't see is plastic for sure.

Light Not Activating in Auto

Light is not activating when in dark while in "auto" mode. The light does illuminate when switch is in the "on" position. Is there a "trouble shooting" process for this condition?. I have 3 other "soft glow LED motion sensor lights and they all work fine. This one just doesn't respond to motion. Thanks,
Asked by: Stewball
I had a problem with one of my lights coming on when there was no movement. I readjusted the batteries, and it works fine now.

guidance on number per stairs?

Since reviewers have commented these emit low light, does anyone have recommendations as to how many of these lights would be best for a dark stairwell? I have 11 steps and was planning on 3, so they'd be roughly every 3rd stair (as depicted in the product photo), but perhaps every other stair would be better?
Asked by: JennyK
I have 12 stairs and 2 lights work for me!
