Rubber Scroll Stair Tread-Set of 4 4.7 5 70 70
High Quality Much higher quality than I expected for the price. They are very heavy rubber and stay in place even when the dogs run over them. Perfect for extra grip on outdoor stairs when they are wet. April 16, 2014
Love My Stair Treads! I ordered three sets of these Rubber Scroll Stair Treads and received within a few days. Was even more surprised when they arrived and seen they looked better in person than online. These are of high quality and seem very durable. I have received so many compliments. I highly recommend these treads. Great price, and was still able to use a coupon! Thanks Improvement for giving my stairs a new look! April 16, 2014
Nice looking These are an attractive way to guide people coming up to my doorways. I have 3-sided sets of steps leading to 2 entrances at my home. These treads have been placed on the sides that have railings to facilitate the climb for anyone needing one. (For appearance sake, the railings were custom made to blend into the house, so they can be hard to notice) They will also help protect the steps that are used the most since they're painted. They match my rubber doormats in design, however, they aren't as thick. April 13, 2014
Love these! These look great and stay put. They don't hold moisture under them and are easy to pick up and clean underneath. Haven't had them long enough to know for sure the durability, but so far so good! March 29, 2014

Answer:
They are sufficient in thickness at just a little over 1/4 inch thick. I feel these are a reasonable thickness, and are well made. I think if stair treads were too thick they could pose a tripping hazard when climbing the stairs, which is not the case with these.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
If the tiles have a smooth surface it is recommended that you use caution. The tread have are rubber backing with treading however any type of tread that is on a smooth surface unless adhered down may have a tendency to slip if water or debris gets trapped under the treads.
