Round Table Set Cover - 48" 1.3 5 4 4
price change and waterproof tip We replaced the patio set cover purchased 2 years ago with this item as it was no longer water resistant. It is more expensive now than previous and while it has some water resistance, the cover pools water in the areas between the table and chairs. We solved the problem by putting a 10" item in the center of the table before covering it and so the water flows off better. On the price side, we just received this at the same time as a new catalog that dropped the price from $54.99 to $39.95. I'm sure the catalog was already on its way to us when we ordered this on July 8th and should have had the reduction of price. Perhaps one should ask when ordering if the price is being reduced any time soon. July 27, 2013
Its a cover, but... I have covers that I have gotten from other providers in the past, but I have always been happy with my purchases of Improvements merchandise so I decided to purchase this cover from them. The cover is not a heavy weight material and it feels almost felt-like as opposed to the other covers I have which cost approx the same but are a very heavy weight pliable waterproof material. I questioned whether the cover would hold up and I was right to do so. Here we are not even half way through a VERY mild winter and already the cover is torn. By contrast, the covers we have used on our other outdoor furniture for now quite a few years are still going strong and even withstood last winter in New Jersey and several 3'+ snow falls! Bottom line, you pay a pretty high price for a low quality product that doesn't stand up to the job. I am sorry to say, I would not recommend this product. January 23, 2012
Waste of Money Purchased 2 years ago. This was the worst purchase of my life. Product is simply an overpriced cover.. Wait... - Not even a quality cover. Did not protect furniture from rain - not waterproof. Then, after one winter on our patio furniture, the inferior fabric was dry, cracked, and torn. We live on the central east coast. The covers were purchased to protect our patio furniture during the winter (Nov-March). Waste of Money! September 21, 2013
Keeps things dry, but... This was the first table cover I have ever used. Not sure what I expected, but for the price I expected more. As for moisture, the cover does a good job. In fact, it becomes a big bowl and holds the water on top of the table to a point. On dry days, a good breeze turns the cover into a big baloon capable of moving all 6 chairs and the table across the deck. As the wind picks up to a winter wind (and this is a MILD winter in Ohio) the tie downs start ripping from the edge seams. I have had to remove the cover twice to repair the ties and then put the cover back on the table. Thank goodness we are having 65 degree days and not 25 degree days this year. Never again will I buy a table cover without being able to feel and see it before purchase. This product is unsatisfactory! March 13, 2012
