Perfect for my needs
I needed a stand for my printer. This was the perfect solution. My husband would not have been able to make a stand for the price I paid for this item. It is PERFECT for the printer and has storage for paper and printer needs. Great value. And it was easy to assemble.

Product has much storage yet takes up so little space.
I loved the 7-drawer storage cabinet so much that I purchased another 7-drawer one, a 10-drawer one and the desk top. I put the top on the two 7-drawer cabinets and absolutely love my new desk. I can't tell you how many different desks I've bought but can finally say I found not only the best one but one that gives me so much workspace and storage!

Very well engineered.
This is a really good piece of furniture, and exactly what I needed. Assembly took several hours for me, 74 years old and working alone, but every piece fit together perfectly. The drawings were a little small, hard to distinguish a screw from a dowel in some views, yet it all settled into place in the end. The drawers function perfectly, and it is easy to roll around. I only recommend this to someone who is accustomed to do-it-yourself projects.

A slot is routed into the outside of each pressboard drawer side. On the interior of each side panel there is an attached wood slide piece, made of real wood. The drawers slide the routed slot along the wood slide. The tolerances are tight with just a little "play" so the drawers don't shift yet are easy to get in, slide and pull out.I hope this helps.

I have some plastic thread boxes that are slightly taller than 3". Just wondering if the height shown for these drawers is the maximum height. Or if it is the height of the side as I noticed the side of the drawer is slightly lower than the front.

I have the 10-drawer chest. Interior dimensions = The drawer sides and back are 2"h. The fronts are 3-1/4"h. You can place items no more than 3-1/4"h into each drawer, nothing higher or the drawer won't close. This is true EXCEPT FOR DRAWER 6 (from top). There is an internal horizontal brace between Drawers 5 and 6 that makes the max height for items in Drawer 6 to be 2-1/4"h, no more.I hope this helps.

It might be a good size for a seat, but I wouldn't expect it would hold up too well if you used it that way. It doesn't have the structural integrity to support sliding around and bearing weight. It would be good for sewing supplies, but get a stool to sit on.Age: 55-65
