Excellent product
These were very easy to install and we are very happy with them.

Lovin' it!
Our patio is on the west side of the house, in the afternoon very hot and sunny. We installed 4 8 ft. shades and what a difference they've made. The patio now feels like a lanai, and looks inviting all the time. They're exactly what we needed! The patio is just begging to have a mid-day-to-late-afternoon party!

great shade
Have late afternoon sun which made the bedroom very hot even with the AC. This shade which we hung on the inside of the house is perfect to keep the sun out and the room cool. It was a very simple installation. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a shade screen

No More Heat
Our front porch gets the afternoon sun and has been uncomfortable due to the heat and sun. Even with ceiling fans not comfortable. These shades made it possible to use the porch in comfort again.
Thanks

Yes. I use this material for inside shades in my dining room. When the 72 in. width began to bow after several years, I cut the shade in half and now deal with two 36 inch shades more easily. The material was easily cut with sharp shears and did not curl on the edges.

Thank you for your question. Although we don't recommend it, you can cut the Solar Shade tubing and material to size. Please note that the shade will have unfinished ends that can be repaired by a professional sewer.1 year ago
What is the exact width of the 4' wide screen without any hardware? Same question including the hardware? Do you recommend moving the shades indoors during the winter months to increase longevity? I live in Seattle and we have mild winters.

Answer:
The fabric width is 69 1/2". The overall installed width with hardware is 72". I would suggest that you take the fabric inside during the winter as this would definitely prolong the life of the fabric and it is not difficult to remove the roller from the hardware.10 months ago
Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Roll-up Solar Shade (4’W x 6’L) fabric width is 46.10”, the screw-to-screw measurement is 46.65” and the total width installed is 48”. The shades can be left up year round, but taking them down for the winter may increase their life span.10 months ago
