Nothing like the picture
Somebody has to change the picture at Improvements ,because the rocky stream outdoor garden fountain is totally dark black. I ordered according to what I saw in the picture, when it arrived on the box it said black. Looking at the picture no where's that I see of any colored mention. The instructions need improvement also, but the bottom line is I would buy this again, and buy future purchases from improvements. Appearance finish, due to the color I gave it a poor rating. But all in all it is a good product. So if you can live with the color, this product is for you.

Fantastic little waterfall
I bought this little gem last month and finally had weather good enough for installing. It was a two morning project to dig the hole level it and get the water going. then I landscaped with plants and moss so that it fits in with the rest of a rock garden that faces my front door as I go outside. The sound is fantastic - I can hear it in the den when the windows are open. I am so glad I gave up on my efforts to make a small waterfall with rubber and rocks and underpowered pumps. T they always leaked and this one is perfect !!!

Only if you want to do what picture shows...
First of all the parts are smaller than you think, Picture shows the whole thing needs to be done under the ground, while I had existing steps that I wanted to use them on. It was very challenging task , if they are not leveled on proper height water will leak out from sides.

Don't Judge a Fountain by its Picture...
My husband and I were so excited when we saw the Rocky Stream Outdoor Fountain in the magazine as we had been wanting to put a fountain in our backyard. I ordered it, but when it arrived it looked nothing like the picture. All of the rocks are black, not multi-colored like in the picture. The picture is deceiving as far as size too (the basin is extremely small and they must have the waterfall pieces elevated in between). Had the package not fallen apart after opening the box, we would have likely returned it.

It seems most things plastic fade to "pink" and then really look FAUX!

Thank you for your question.The color is blended in the manufacturing process all the way through the resin and not just on the top side. If properly cleaned and maintained the color of the rocks should remain the same.
