Too flimsy against the elements
Wind has already blown it down (sigh) and actually, it was more of a strong breeze. I should have found another solution. Lesson learned!

hiding the a/c compressor
does the job. hated looking at the a/c unit on my balcony. this item does a great job of hiding it.

not quite what I was expecting
I purchased the screens so that I might be able to protect my outside air conditioning compressor units from the sun. After receiving them, it was obvious that their height wasn't going to accomplish that.

What is the space between each panel when configured in a straight line? Is it completely closed from site or can you see through the openings where the rods are? I have a project that will require 8 of them put together in a straight row. But, I do not want any sight possible through the fence.

Sorry, but there is some visibility. I've had kids approach it and try to separate the strands also. There's about an inch between strands covered by overlapped grass needles. Visibility varies, the overlap is not intended to provide a solid block and in small instances does not overlap. To provide a better block it would have to be hung without stretching it out. Personally, I'm happy with it. I provides the privacy we desired without closing myself in with cinderblock.Age: 55-65

Thank you for your question. There will be approximately 1/2" gap between each panel. If you review the picture of the item you will see that the crowning and molded portion at the very top of each panel jets out slightly further than the rest of the design on the panel. This is why these will not be able to be flush next to each other without a gap showing. Thank you.

Thank you for your question.Yes, you can separate them, however there are only enough poles to connect them (i.e. on the hinges) to each other and also to help support and secure into the ground.

Can the connector posts that come with the screens be ordered separately? I know there are ground stakes that can be purchased separately but I'm asking about replacements for the connector posts that come with the screen. I need 2 sets worth. Thank you.
