Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Fan; No Radio The fan works well; no complaints there. However, the RADIO does not work at all -- I can get NO signal, not on AM, not on FM. July 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gardening Fan I bought this fan to take with me outdoors when I work in the garden in FL during the summer. It helps cool me off and keeps the knats away from my face. Works perfect for that. And I don't need to be tethered to a cord. The disappointing part is that I had really hoped to listen to music as well. Preferably the radio. Per the owners manual, the radio doesn't work while the fan is running. Not sure why. I don't want to take my ipod out with me for fear of damage in the garden/sun. Wish that could be fixed. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but the speaker on the radio fan is better I brought the radio fan by the same manufacturer. The speaker is awesome and the overall quality is good. The MP# version has smaller less powerful speaker. June 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by A Bit Disappointing The Fan works as described. I am very happy with that part. The radio, not so much. The AM radio is disabled when you use the fan. The FM radio has a buzz sound when you're using the fan so it's annoying if you want to listen to the FM with the fan on at low volume. As for an MP3 port? No, there is no MP3 port at all so that's a false statement. What it does have is an external input to plug in another device (Like an earphone jack). The sound quality of the radio is horrible. There's no fidelity to it at all. As for the battery for this fan? It doesn't use your typical rechargeable batteries. It uses a lead acid battery. So, overall, if you're looking for a rechargeable fan, yes, this fits the bill fine. However, not being able to use the AM Radio while the fan is running kind of defeats the purpose of the radio. Don't expect nice FM Quality sound or you'll be highly disappointed. September 19, 2015
